Equestrian question of the day: Do you believe that you have to fall off in order to be a good rider?

Yes and no. If you push yourself to do harder and more challenging things and ride out of your comfort zone then you're bound to make mistakes and fall off, if you say on even better but if you fall off because you were pushing yourself then yes i believe you have to fall to be a better rider

Hey Lauren, my new horse has a very big bouncy canter stride I'm not used too, I was just wondering if you had any tips on staying well seated in the saddle? I love your channel so much and Ralph is such a gorgeous horse!!

Literally just practice riding the bigger stride you'll get used to it the more you ride that horse :)

Advice for loosening up while riding? I recently started getting really stiff in the saddle and it looks really artificial and gross. Thanks in advance?

Just stretch it out touch ur ponies ears bum opposite toes with opposite hands just let loose

Im not trying to brag about myself but last year my eq was like on fleek (in my opinion) but recently i have been riding a 14.3 horse and when i do a posting trot or canter i lean forward too much like in halfseat. Idk how to stop doing this and i think i could be bc his saddle is too small for me.

Just focus on sitting back and more deeply :)

What boots & chaps/tall boots do you have ? Do you like them would you recommend them ?

I dont have chaps right now i'm debating buying chaps or buying a second pair of tall boots not sure yet ?
