I pay $200 to lease my horse three times a week ,our arena is small and threre is only one arena . is it unreasonable ?

I've been riding for 3 years and just 2 days ago I fell off for the first time while going from a canter to trot transition. it's never happened before (I do w/t/c & jump) and I'm kinda scared to ride even though it'll be a different horse. it wasn't a bad fall but it just shocked me. any tips? ://

Its totally fine all riders fall at some point so just get back on and keep riding :)

Any tips on getting/keeping your horse in a frame and on the bit in the canter? He will be perfect while trotting but when we make a canter transition he just kinda throws his head up and whatever. I would love tips! :)

You just have to get power from behind and then harness it so the horse sits back on it's haunches with half haults :)

I need help! So I exercise a horse for a friend and I really like the horse but he spooks a lot and is very forward and I am a bit nervous when I ride him, do you have any tips on what I can do to keep him from not spooking or for me not to be so nervous?

The best thing is to sit up and stay calm yourself :)

Tips for keeping your heels down? My feet always go everywhere in the trot/canter and I can't seem to keep my heels down no matter how hard I try.

Literally just practice and make an effort to continue thinking about it as you ride!

I am scared to go on my first forest ride! I just got my horse and we were only riding in the ring! I decided to go outside cause the forest is so beautiful and its even has lake! Should I ask some girl at the barn to go with me? I dont know people there...Some tips?

Ya definitely see if you can go with someone :) who doesn't love a trail ride?
