oooh hahahaha I am blushing 🙈 thanks for the nice compliment ^^ As for this sad pancake 😂 it is called "kesra". It is some kind of semolina- based flatbread. And has different types of it with different names. This one was made by my paternal grandmother for me 🥰 but of course since I was so young to eat, it was eaten by the adults 😂 Actually I was joking around about it with mom two or three days ago: "who did eat that kesra of mine? 😠 I claim another one 😒" 😂😂😂😂
oh fore sure. I used to believe in lot of things, like any other who is born and raised in a society that is influenced by some religious and cultural ideas. For examlpe I used to believe in: - The protection of the 'khamsa'* against the bad eye. - The use of a red circular thing on the forehead to stop the hiccup. I have seen my mother and some relatives doing it to my sister and some other babies in the family, and tried it myself on me but it obviously didn't work 😂 - That the black cat is related to bad luck and devil and such. - The interpretation of dreams and that it has answers about our future. - Not looking in the mirrors at night. But I don't believe in this stuff any more. I have rejectes them for years now xD ------ *khamsa: it means in Arabic (five). It also has other names known here in North Africa like: tafust (means the little hand in Berber) or the hand of Fatma (I guess by Fatma they mean daughter of the Islam's founder Muhamed. I am not sure though). The khamsa is an amulet that has the shape of a palm, and used in different nations as a protection against the bad eye. I have one that I bought recently . But of course it is not used for those spiritual protection things 😂 it's just that I love this symbol and find it appealing 😂
It's a photo of an old photo of mine 🙈 my mother has been recently at my granparents house, and she found it there. I have never seen this photo before 🙈
I would choose: *pinterest *reddit *quora *pdfdrive *gidav.com the last one is a good library of different art works. I really enjoy scrutinizing it ^^

oh yes , I have. As you already know, I am good at crochet and knitting. So that allowed me to make some stuff ^^ I will be crocheting gloves these days. You know? the cold season is starting, and I need good warm gloves for that haha. Generally autumn is so cold here in Algeria. For example, the last two years, october and november seriously unberable 🥶 So I am going to make new gloves 😊 I will make sure to share them with you once I finish. It will not take long.
ooh yes ^^ my two best friends are from middle school. Actually we used to know each other in primary school, but we weren't friends. I also had several friends from our childhood until our adult age but unfortunately our ties broke.
Do you have a specific tradition or thing you like to do every year during or in preperation for Halloween? I saw someone baking a pumpkin pie the other day, that they said they always make one specifically every October. So it made me wonder if there's anything you guys did every year?
No, I don't. Actually we do not celebrate Halloween here in Algeria, and also it is not something that exists in our family as well. So I have never had any tradition for it. There is some kind of celebration done here in my hometown, but it is V.I.P and only attended by some people who like more the European culture and all. I honestly wouldn't attend this stuff, it's not my world and would never enjoy it.
I cannot explain it in English, not in Arabic either haha it is said in our colloquial language hahaha so, it's difficult to explain. Anyhow, the joke is about a kid who is trying to learn the Arabic alphabet and then he misspelled some letters in a funny and ridiculous way 😅
