We lie a lot. Not only to others but to ourself as well.
And those emotions break out sometimes. We all have them. It's just that some have more control over it than others.
Another reason is... some people have less empathy due to troubles during pregnancy. It's not their fault but the centre where the brain creates all different kinds of emotion is damaged. So that's why some people struggle with empathy. But they still know what they are doing even when they have troubles understand other people.
Well - there are still more reasons. Do you know that I don't know the exact percentage, but I guess it was something between 80-90% of victims of abuse? Anykind. Physical or mental abuse tend to become like their abuser because they felt terrible pain and can't bear it alone. So they just pass the pain to someone else. It's like the situation when a lifeguard wants to save a non-swimmer. The non-swimmer by any chance tries to stay above the water even when it means they risking the life of the lifeguard. That's why they have special technics before coming close to them they have to learn special grips.
That's the reasons that came to my mind. There are surely some others...

I played "A Light In The Dark"-VN and I am really twisted with it.
I really liked the Graphic so far but the story is so tough. I really got some serious mood swings after playing it. But I don't know if you enjoy even serious topics, I can recommend it. The Graphic is also really, really nice.
And no I don't mind stat rising games. But I really have to be in the mood for the story. =) If the story catches my interest then, of course, I go for it.
I searched for Steam Prison and the cover of the game seems kinda cute. Its Harem reversed, right? So there is a female protagonist. I would love to hear your opinion on this game when you finished it.
