Do you usually make patterns for your cosplays beforehand? I'm making my first costume but I'm finding it really hard to start because I have no idea how to draw up a pattern that will fit me- without it becoming too baggy or too small...do you have any tips?
In all honesty I don't make patterns before sewing >_<; usually just yolo and cut the fabric LMAO!!
But lately I have been doing that by drafting it on paper and then pinning it together and somewhat try to wear it on.
Always remember when you're drafting your pattern to leave extra space for sewing.
In most cases its easier to fix if the costume is bigger as you can singe em in :D
