You should send a yoyo to the guys at What's Inside, It's a YouTube channel with over 3,000,000 subscribers, I think it could raise some popularity to CLYW, and modern yoyoing in general.
Do titanium yoyos develop vibe as easily as aluminum ones? I don't care about cosmetic damage but my Tundra is my smoothest throw and I'd like to keep it that way :)
I haven't noticed any tendencies one way or the other. But I tend to just beat the unholy crap out of all my gear and not worry too much about it. I think it's less a matter of material and more a matter of how you hit it. A relatively even hit...usually not a problem. An overwhelmingly uneven hit, higher chance of knocking something out of whack. I'd assume titanium is going to be a fair bit tougher and give you less chance of issues relating to the axle well, though. But that's just assumption on my part...like I said, I haven't really paid much attention. -Steve
Are some yoyos better at regens than others? What makes a yoyo good at regens? I'm having a hard time getting them down (practicing frequently though). Thanks!
Regents are more about timing and staying on-plane than anything else. The actual return top is last on the list of factors to worry about, IMO. -Steve
so like how often do you plant questions on askfm to release company information on a deliberate basis?
Never, actually. That kind of thing seems phony and weird to me. If I need to spit out info that no one is asking about I'll just answer one of the "Question of the Day" things with whatever I want out there. I've done that once or twice. -Steve
How do you guys choose what you want in a yoyo trick? I find that I'm too picky and end up with nothing after a long session trying to make tricks 😥
I just want something interesting in my tricks. Could be the whole thing, could be just one element, but as long as something neat happens, I'm good. -Steve
It's inspired by the cover of this book. Chris read it, and was really blown away by it. Starting with the first ever run of 28 Stories, CLYW donates money to Doctors Without Borders every time we run that colorway. -Steve
