Andrew needs a signature yoyo

Maybe. He's pretty happy with the Puffin 2.
The thing about signature return tops is that not every player who deserves one actually needs or wants one. Some people are pretty happy with what they're using.
That being said, if Andrew really had a solid idea for something he wanted, we would definitely be willing to have the conversation. -Steve

how do you pick your team members?

We look for people who fit the CLYW vibe, people who we think would be a great part of the family. We look for skill and dedication and personality and how active they are and just generally think to ourselves "Is this a good fit? Will this person contribute something amazing to the CLYW story?" -Steve

How does Jensen go from throwing a unresponsive yoyo and bind then throw it and it becomes a looping yoyo? I've seen him do it in a few videos and I can't wrap my mind around it because after he turns it into a looping, he then binds and turns it back to unresponsive. Cabin Tutorial it?

It's a forced snag in the string...not enough to be a full knot, but enough to snag the return top and let it act response until you throw hard enough to clear the snag. It's a really tricky thing to do. -Steve

are signature player colorways reserved only for return tops that the aforementioned player uses? I noticed the gnarwhal 2 got the maiderade treatment but the Puffin 2 remains as Andrew's main throw. Just curious!

We've put Harrison Hurricane on pretty much everything in the line, though.
No hard and fast rules for it, although sales of a sig colorway are one of the things that we look at and talk about when we're figuring out the next signature return top for someone. -Steve

Chuck-If you want really long poly string, get yoyoexpert extra long string. It's longer than Kitty and comes in at 59 inches I believe. It comes in either white or yellow. Just wanted to let you know! I use it by the way an it's pretty dope. Not the same quality as Kitty, but still good.

Will the Orca be another colab with one drop since they helped machine the prototype?

Nope. We designed it, they are just our supplier, same as with the rest of our line. The Summit is our only current collab with One Drop. -Steve

Wow! How do I stretch my string?!?! If I stretch using my foot will it hurt bearing?!?! UNBELIEVABLE! I don't know how you do it Steve. Apparently many people lose any kind of good sense and logic when they think of questions to ask you. I feel sorry you can't say what you really want to sometimes.
