I am new to the whole GS scene, I'm a female who is curious about what it is all about really? so can you tell me in your own words where you stand on the issues of gender rights and equality? thank you :)
Fresh meat >:}Lol hi! How did you hear about us? Did you come from Yahoo?I think people should be able to pursue anything they like in life. I don't think less of a man for wanting to be a nanny or a homemaker, nor do I think less of a woman for wanting to be a wrestler or a mechanic. However, I don't think standards should be altered for more diversity in a work environment for the sake of political correctness. Whoever is capable and wants to do the job should have an equal chance of attaining it. I'm not for or against either gender movement, because while they have some some good points and issues that deserve attention, they seem to be blinded by hatred and they're too preoccupied with trying to bring the opposition down rather than doing what it takes to move their own forward.I also believe in Santa Claus :).
I have dreams with dinosaurs and yummies and monsters and beards and evil trees and gloopy mud things and puppies and flowers and my cave behind the waterfall and *goes on and on and on and on* .
:o:OYAY I'M IN IT!!!! :DI'm honored and flattered that you used me in your story, CF! <3 I loved it!, So dramatic, and sad, and cute, and funny! What, if anything, has the Men's Rights Movement done for men in 2014? 3 months left and have they done anything but disparage 3rd wave feminists this year? If so, link me with authoritative and credible sources please. Thanks! :)
I am opposed to the death penalty, but given that it does exists, should it be used in cases of egregious financial and public corruption? E.g., Bernie Madoff and the Judge in the Kids for Cash scandal. I think people like that do exponentially more harm than even the most notorious murderer.
Nah. I think a fair punishment would be for them to be made to donate all their dirty money and work a "regular" job with a much lower pay than they're used to to live off of for x amount of years.
Mass Q: Do any other women have crushes on serial killers or evil men? I am obsessed with Elliot Rodger and Isei Sagawa (when he was younger he was cute, but now he's like 65).
There are. I can understand someone having a fascination toward them because of their bizarre and heinous crimes, but I don't understand how people can actually lust after them or pursue relationships with them. Karla Homolka married a relative of her lawyer's I believe, and they have a family. Susan Atkins of the Manson family was married twice (I think). So it's not strictly a female thing.I'm not sure how it works, though. Does the "love" only last as long as they're safe from the killer and it remains only a fantasy? Carol Spadoni married Phillip Jablonski, who murdered his wife, but then before his release expressed fear that he might hurt her, and, well, he did. He murdered her and her mother. As for Issei Sagawa, now he whines about not being able to get a job and being "shunned" by society, and says that being known for his crimes is a punishment. That's funny, because he really seemed to enjoy the attention and celebrity status he had before for those same crimes.
I would guess before they they start taking an interest in the world around them. Being exposed to the atrocities committed by mankind, injustice, and suffering of others is enough to make many people become disillusioned. I would also say people can be at their happiest when they learn and become accepting of themselves. If everyone around you wants to be rich and live in a giant house and collect the latest gadgets, there may a time where you feel like you should want those same things, too, and not feel very good about yourself whenever there's a setback. But if you realize that's not something you want, you can start appreciating the simpler things that actually make you happy.
I don't think so. You have nothing to do with them making the choice to eat there. Though if you are of the belief that fast food is intentionally made to be addictive, then it could be argued that it's unethical to be involved with them.I think you're fine, Love <3
