My marriage is missing that spark. 33m here.
The commitment of marriage is the sticktoitiveness well past the butterflies/honeymoon phase and "that spark" that unfortunately, couples never discuss ...that "now what?" phase.
You however, can spend your life chasing sparks (that too, will dwindle person by person) or rediscover your partner in intimate ways that keep them and relationship interesting, daily.
Here's the tea: People chasing "sparks" is (one of) the main reason relationships do not last.
Dope fiends never get that first hit-ever again. And we all know what happens with the life of dope fiends chasing it.
Nobody's spark is gonna last forever. Not even the fire to the spark to wicker of a candle. That's why you have to set fire to it-
over and over again. So do you-within your relationship.
Even if you leave the same thing is gonna again for you--or to you.
