I wish I could study in Korea for a year or so. I also wish I could do that in Japan. Not sure I'll ever get to do that though TT

you can do anything if you work hard enough for it! sometimes it takes a lot of sacrifices and hard work, but anything is possible :)

haha I just wanna know.. hehe.. by the way, can I see your photo 언니? doesn't matter if you won't :D I'm just curious.. haha thankyou 언니.. waiting for me okay.. hihihi

요즘 어떻게 지넸어?

요즘 엄청 바쁘고 힘들어요!! ㅠㅠ 시간이 진짜 빨라졌어요 어떡해요..ㅠㅠㅠㅠ;;

How about 를 and 는 . Are they the same??

은 and 는 are similar to 이 and 가. 은 attaches to words that end in consonants ("가방은") and 는 attaches to words that end in vowels ("날씨는").
The difference is that 은/는 is the topic marker and 이/가 is the subject marker.
은/는 puts emphasis on the word it attaches to (making it the topic of the sentence). you can imagine 은/는 as being equivalent to saying "as for ___".
For example, "햄버거는 맛있어요" ("As for hamburgers, they are delicious.") That may sound a bit wordy and awkward in English, but this particle is commonly used to introduce new topics or change the topic of conversation from one focus to another.
이/가 does the opposite and puts emphasis on the predicate (what comes after it in the sentence). It can be used to counter what someone says, or give an opinion when a topic has already been introduced.
For example, if you were already talking about hamburgers, you could say "햄버거가 맛있어요" which gives a feeling like "Hamburgers (which we were already talking about) are delicious", putting emphasis on the describing word rather than the topic itself. (This might be hard to understand at first, because the emphasis is not in the voice's tone or pitch at all, only in the words.)
As for 을/를, they also change depending on the preceeding vowels and consonants. 을 comes after words that end in a consonant ("물을") and 를 comes after words that end in vowels ("우유를").
This one is the object marker. You use the object marker with the object of the sentence, a.k.a. the thing that recieves an action. It is always used with a verb.
Examples:
물을 마셔요 ("Drink water")
우유를 마셔요 ("Drink milk")
햄버거를 먹어요 ("Eat a hamburger")
and you can use the subject and topic markers together with it, too:
제니는 햄버거를 먹어요 ("Jenny eats a hamburger")
선생님은 사과를 먹어요 ("The teacher eats an apple")
나는 우유를 좋아해요 ("I like milk")
I'm sorry I can't really go much more in depth, but these are really really difficult to understand for most people, even after years of study. The best way to learn them is to listen to a lot of Korean speech and try to get the 'feeling' of it.

where is it and what are you doing there..? alone or with your family? you don't scared?

Natalie Cho
just a small town, you won't know it. and i'm alone ^^ no it's not scary

I don't understand 가 and 이 like 날시가... and sometimes they add 이 to words

가 is added to words that end in a vowel, like 날씨.
ex. "날씨가 좋아요" (The weather is nice.)
이 is added to words that end with a consonant, like 가방.
ex. "가방이 예뻐요" (The bag is pretty.)

Tracy
no they always have day-of tickets. they reserve tickets for a few sections to sell at the venue, they're just usually not the good seats

ahh i see >< i might just ask my friend to help me then... but idk when she'll be in kr ;-; this is giving me so much anxiety orz i rly wanna go, but if i cant, i hope they have a show in LA

Tracy
yeah! idk how difficult it is for you to change your flight and stuff but i'm sure you could get in. i went to smtown 2012 during my first month in korea, before i had a gmarket account. i just went there on the day of the concert and bought a ticket. the seats were awful but cheap and at least i was there XDD internet war!!! *looks through binoculars cuz so far away*

wait... what... is an ARC number... im sorry for bugging u w so many questions

it's like a resident number you get if you live here...kinda like a korean social security number if you're korean.
i'm not sure cuz i don't remember but you might need a korean gmarket account (which requires the number) to buy tickets to concerts DX

cool! we need a gmarket accnt to buy right? im so anxious abt this tbh

Tracy
yeah you need a gmarket account! you might need an ARC number or something though.

Please start getting happier from now on, yes? :) You deserve it :D
