If all drugs were legal, do you think you would start taking any drugs? Why/Why not?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
No. The law has nothing to do with why I do not use drugs or anything that alters my mental state in ways other than making me sleepy (melatonin). I don't like the way drugs and alcohol feel, so I don't use them. It's that simple.

When you like someones answer, do you actually read the answer or do you often just click 'like;?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
If I like an answer, it is because I read it. Every now and then it is an accidental like while scrolling on my phone, but those are rare and I will read those if they're in English.

What’s something you should throw away, but can’t?

I don't have anything like that. Not even something philosophical or that I could use to make a clever play on words. In my mind my son is the only thing in the universe that isn't temporary. Everything else, and I do mean absolutely everything else can be lost or taken or destroyed. It's why I don't hang set on my walls, I don't buy furniture that matches or decorate my living space in any way, why I do not keep constant contact with anyone on my own accord, and why I don't hold people to their promises. I've tried changing this, but it seems to be hardwired into my being. I don't think it is depressing, but it does seem very disconcerting to others, so I try to fight it often.

Do violent games contribute to violent youths?

No. Penn and Teller did an episode of bullshit about this that was really good. Definitely worth looking up on YouTube.

Is sexual orientation determined at birth? Give reasons as to why/why not

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Yes and no. People are born the way they are, but I don't believe we know what we are until puberty. There are exceptions, of course, but we cannot determine what an infant finds sexually arousing before they are capable of being sexually aroused. I can't see any reason why we'd want to either.

Is it better to eat healthily all the time, or should we allow ourselves to indulge once in a while?

The key to a healthy diet is not cutting out foods that are considered unhealthy, but moderation. Any food you eat can become unhealthy of you eat too much of it. Some take less than others, but no food is exempt.

Is it reasonable to have a sense of delusional confidence in your abilities, or would you rather build confidence by performing well in the past? If you choose the latter, doesn’t that mean that a single bad performance can shatter your confidence in yourself?

Delusions are never reasonable, so I would not choose that. Building confidence through performing well over time is the only way to really build confidence. It is the delusional view that can be shattered, not the way of hard work. By building on your successes over time you have to also learn how to fail and start again. You have to realize that failure is to be embraced and learned from. To succeed without ever failing is to not understand success. We learn nothing from success. Failure is our teacher and greatest ally in growing as a person.

Michelangelo's David, Masterpiece or filth?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Masterpiece, especially when viewed from the proper angle. That is, from above. It isn't meant to be viewed the way it is, looking up at it. It is meant to be admired from above. From the angle of a giant.

If you could get rid of all the songs from a particular singer, whose would you delete and why?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Bob Marley, because it would devastate Xekan's mother. I'm still bitter sometimes, even when I recognize how much better my life is now and how happy I am with where I am.

If you could write your own novel, what would it be about? Write a small story here?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Anyone with an idea for a novel can write a novel. I have several that I am working on covering the gamut of genres. I have the first part of a short story posted to my blog. I'm a great storyteller when it comes to telling things in first person, but I am still lacking in my ability to develop a character when telling a story in novel form. I'll get there eventually. :)

Do you prefer to talk a lot , tell different stories or be quiet and listen to others ?

I'm a talker and a storyteller, but before I ever opened my mouth I was a listener and observer. I am still an excellent listener, and depending on my mood at the moment can be the most silent man alive. Especially in the morning. When I wake I go as long as I can without speaking. my record is about 2.5 weeks, which would not be possible now that I have a child.

What makes you feel like a boss or genius ?

As arrogant as it sounds, just being around other people makes me feel this way. I try to avoid leading as much as possible, but I am a natural leader. I hate the word "genius" as a description of intelligence and not just as a moment of enlightenment. I do find myself, more often than not, feeling like the smartest person in a room. I'm never the one claiming or acting like I'm the smartest in the room, though. I leave that to the people that think one must know everything in order to be perceived as intelligent. The ones that can't accept that it is okay not to know things.

When you ask people questions on here, are they representing the types of questions you'd like others to ask you?

youcuntx’s Profile PhotoJ.
Not really. I ask questions I am curious to know the answers of. I like being asked all questions. or almost all. I don't like being asked for questions without being given actual questions.

Who knows the most about you?

Probably Brent. Xekan's mother did until about 3 years ago when she just shut me out of her life. We don't know anything about each other anymore. Now Brent knows the most, Xekan knows me best, and Alaa understands me. Dani is well on her way to learning and understanding me best, though.
