He is a famous country singer. The horsey that I ride was his horse. He used to be riden western alls the time. I ride him english but when I ride him western its like he steps into a whole new world. He just has issuses. U seem nice.

T is actually easier than i thought. When you canter normally you like move with the horse. Do that just like oposite. Ha! Sry kinda hard to explain. So much easier in a western saddle and riding a neck rein horse!!!!
lol! yay! i was doing this bareback soo its a totally different feeling (saddle would probably feel better....maybe)

I usually do the same I don't think it's right to rush into any sort of speed in a beginning of a ride. I lunged barbie a lot when she was in the stage of being scared of everything and being a little stiff and it definitely helped, it also helps to take a bit of energy out of them :)
yah! that probably is a good idea... maybe this upcoming weekend ill try it :) He needs energy out of him lol!!

It might be something that he'll work out of maybe you could lunge him before you actually ride or walk and slow jog for a good 15 minutes before asking for a canter
lol! I tried like having him walk in a circle around me (stares at me blankly like what to you want me to do?) he's a little afraid of everything so we have to be slow-- on the ground. But the slow jog sounds good. I usually do a good half an hour warm-up with any horse i ride (if possible) and if it is super cold and rainning out it turns into an hour warm-up which i only walk & trot during. :)

GRREAAT!!!! I started my ride on horse im starting to train! And we worked on slowness lol!! We learn 3 things need improvement: Backing, Head down, & STOPPING!! And we went on a wee trail ride. :)
Then I rode 50 and we rode in a saddle & then bareback!! I going to sent pics later (maybe see if a video will appear lol!) It was really fun!! :D
