if you save up the money will you be able to get a horse ? Why don't you try working at your barn to pay off for board?
i do save money. And i want to do that, but college takes up all my free time because they give you so much work!! I always work at my old high school as a art teacher assistant & the barn in summer as a horse counselor!!

yas!! :D Its fun!! lol...have not done it on max yet....he is not bombproof soo....lol have not tried yet. But i did it with 50 al the time! :) maybe ill try this weekend!

Scariest horse incident
well i have already explained the runaway one with Max as a racehorse towards the electric fence and not listening what so ever to my ques.

SO i was riding 50 bareback at the canter and i had the reins on his mane (just laying there) and then he put his head down a tad and the reins fell off over his neck so i was canter around a few strides without anything to stop! Lol. I was like CRAP!! Cause it could have ended bad. But i basically sat back and said whoa/hoe and also tried grabbing the reins and he stopped and everything was fine...lol. Just scary at that time.

Tips on cantering bareback on a pony ?
stay calm & relaxed & sit back a light bit. Dont cling to your horse's sides because this will cause them to go faster (most likely), grip with your thighs and have loose legs. Move with the ponies rythm and but dont let your legs move, they need to stay under you! :)
