what conspiracy theory do you believe in if there's any? why do you think many dismiss conspiracy theories?

exypnosW’s Profile PhotoDuit
For various reasons, the people who came up with the idea of illegally invading Iraq (not Dumbya, he's just an idiot, I mean the people who manipulated him) actually wanted it to turn out that way.
Like Pyle in The Quiet American by Graham Greene, but without his few redeeming features.
Partly this is explained by delusion but partly by having a values set so different to mine, I consider it to be warped. Bernie Sanders is the only person to have even tried resisting the same people that Obama failed to confront head on and who are now dictating Donald Trump's agenda.

what excites you about future?

exypnosW’s Profile PhotoDuit
What I'm most excited about rn is my Scotland trip i September, going to do this!
http://treesforlife.org.uk
And before that I'm going to one of my favourite cities, Edinburgh.
http://dry-valleys.tumblr.com/tagged/scotland
The satisfaction of not only enjoying myself but doing something that is both useful and challenging, therefore doubly satisfying.
I don't really enjoy summer so that's my main thing to look forward to, in September.

i have a silly question but have you thought of committing a crime and feel proud of it?

exypnosW’s Profile PhotoDuit
I'm a bit square so I don't really do things like that, but you may find this funny. The central charachter of Knots and Crosses by Ian Rankin is a policeman, I recommend the whole series of books. Here's some of his antics.
"Near his flat, he passed a little grocery shop outside which were stacked crates of milk and morning rolls. The owner had complained in private to Rebus about petty and occasional thefts, but would not submit a complaint proper. The shop was as dead as the street, the solitude of the moment disturbed only by the distant rumble of a taxi on cobblestones and the persistence of the dawn chorus. Rebus looked around him, examining the many curtained windows. Then, swiftly, he tore six rolls from a layer and stuffed them into his pockets, walking away a little too briskly. A moment later he hesitated, then walked on tiptoe back to the shop, the criminal returning to the scene of the crime, the dog to its vomit. Rebus had never actually seen dogs doing that, but he had it on the authority of Saint Peter.
Locking round again, he lifted a pint of milk out of its crate and made his getaway, whistling silently to himself.
Nothing in the world tasted as good for breakfast as stolen rolls with some butter and jam and a mug of milky coffee. Nothing tasted better than a venial sin."

Do you have blog or any sort? Any blog suggestion?

I have a blog fam, but you're better off reading this blog than mine as it's more interesting :)

I just got into him and I love it.
Also Nassim Taleb, who is a bit annoying and I don't agree with him but can't deny he's interesting & challenging.

Do you always keep a towel with you? #42

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
I, VROOMFONDEL, DEMAND THAT I HAVE A TOWEL!
"Here, suck this,’ said Roosta, offering Zaphod his towel.
Zaphod stared at him as if he expected a cuckoo to leap out of his forehead on a small spring.
'It’s soaked in nutrients,’ explained Roosta.
'What are you, a messy eater or something?’ said Zaphod.
'The yellow stripes are high in protein, the green ones have vitamin B and C complexes, the little pink flowers contain wheatgerm extract.’
Zaphod took it and looked at it in amazement.
'What are the brown stains?’ he asked.
'Bar-B-Q sauce,’ said Roosta. 'For when I get sick of wheatgerm.’"

What's your main rule in life?

On my Nottingham trip I plan to re-read the Hitch Hiker's Guide to the Galaxy, wherein Ford Prefect describes how life should be lived.
Ford had his own code of ethics. It wasn't much of one, but it was his and he stuck by it, more or less. One rule he made was never to buy his own drinks. He wasn't sure if that counted as an ethic, but you have to go with what you've got. He was also firmly and utterly opposed to all and any forms of cruelty to any animals whatsoever except geese. And furthermore he would never steal from his employers.
Well, not exactly steal...

Would/Do you get into a relationship expecting to marry that person?

exypnosW’s Profile PhotoDuit
No, marriage and children is not my idea of a night out!
The important thing is that you want the same thing as your lover. If you're a swinger don't go out with a monogamous person and go to the swingers' club behind their back, if you have no sex drive don't pretend otherwise in order to get into a relationship with a sexual athlete, etc.
So if you wanted to get married, children etc, make sure you first spend time with that person and they agree to it and you mutually consider it a good idea. If one does and the other doesn't then it may become necessary to end that relationship.
So long as there is no abuse, involvement of non-consenting people etc you can mutually choose your arrangement, only be honest about your wants and needs and accept theirs and let them go if you can't do it.
Good luck, if you're asking for yourself :)

Is it normal to go through a tough depression at a very young age, from the age of 8 or 9? What are some serious consequences of staying alone (being lonely) for too long? (If there's any).

exypnosW’s Profile PhotoDuit
I don't at all think it's normal for children to be depressed, life is shite but your parents are meant to shield you from that. The cause will be something like bullying or abuse & it's imperative to try to find out what it is so that child's suffering can be eased.
As to the second part, loneliness is almost always a drag, there's opposed to solitude which a person has chosen to clarify their thoughts and avoid being bothered, which I understand as I'm an introvert myself, but I couldn't do without my friends and my girlfriend.
I didn't have a girlfriend until I was 27 and we're in a position, almost more fwb than a relationship, where we understand that we won't live together and get married, but in bad times or in good times we will seek each other out.
The dilemma of wanting to not be forever alone but worried about the hurt of opening up to love is expressed here, as I don't think I've met you before it's also a welcome to the excellent music and genius answers here ;)

What did (or will) you eat for dinner tonight? I thought this would be a fun question because of how many different parts of the world everyone comes from. It's fun to hear about all of the various cuisines out there. :)

I got this at 8am having jut woken up :)
I don't know what I'll have but my favourite meal is quite traditional to where I am, a leek and potato soup and bread, a roast lamb dinner
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sunday_roast
And what legends have for dessert
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sticky_toffee_pudding
So I'm very old-school, when they hang me I'll request this and a packet of herbal tablets as my last meal :)
As you can see, no healthy eating here!
What did or will you eat for dinner tonight I thought this would be a fun

(This would have been STAIF however I can't click on all of them ?). Anyway, so here's the question: Have you ever been rescued by the emergency services? (Police, Fire Service, Ambulance Service, Coastguard/Air-Sea Rescue?) If so and you're comfortable sharing, tell us what happened ? - Doug

CactusDoug’s Profile PhotoDoug
Sadly no, I haven't had a wild enough life!
This is one of my photographers whose blog I followed (unfortunately he stopped blogging) showing dedication to his art, in the floods of 2016, in Dorset.

Do you think it's appropriate of parents to pull their kids' friends into helping with house and/or yard work whenever they visit? Would/do you do this with your kids? If so, would you pay the friends or consider their labor payment for your time/home/resources/etc.?

AmericanLass’s Profile PhotoC.
No, unless they spontaneously express an interest, I suppose a bit of coaxing might be ok but if you can't convince them that working is in fact fun then don't make them do it.
No such thing has happened to me as I'm not married etc, I haven't considered it.

The other day I passed by a Red Cross volunteer who was trying to get people to sign up to donate blood because my country has critically low blood product levels this summer. Have you ever donated blood? If so, how often did/do you donate it? If not, do you think you might donate in the future?

It's one of those things I vaguely think about doing but haven't done yet.
Crossing that barrier of squeamishness/reluctance would probably take something personal, such as myself or a loved one needing a transfusion (for instance I support thyroid charities because I have an underactive thyroid myself and neededhelp for that a d I remember the pain and the struggke of getting the right diagnosis).
May I ask how you yourself responded to this call? As I say I haven't yet.

What's the last compliment you gave somebody?

I told a girl at work who had an especially good hairdo that day that she looked like Jaclyn Glenn.
Thankfully it came out right :)
