Smoking in the UK looks like it is set to be made illegal. One option the government are looking at is to make the minimum age go up by one year, every year. Essentially ensuring no young person can ever buy cigarettes again. What are your thoughts on this? I personally do not smoke.

I’m asking where you got this idea from?
I’ve not heard that the government plans to ban smoking, from any trustworthy source.

on a scale of 1-10 how fu**ed is Boris

brookerobertson772’s Profile Photobrooke robertson
7-8 I’d say, his utter shamelessness and sociopathy mean he might survive what would have brought down a functioning human being. But I hope that we get a new government that, in working for the good of everyone across Britain, also undermines the nationalists and brings us all together.

How's your day been?

Not bad, I was a bit frustrated at work as I kept having software problems but I had a good jog and ate a good meal, followed by french macarons (Not to be confused with macaroons, which I don’t like) so I’m content with that. Am now doing nothing for an hour, then going to bed.

do I ask my gf to marry after 7 years were both 18 and 19

If you think you’re both ready to spend your lives together and there’s a reasonable chance of her saying yes, then you should ask her.
If not, wait or don’t do it at all.
This is a big decision but, while I hope you get the best outcome, it is a you decision!

At what point in your day do you have peace?

After I’ve got through the door or, if working from home, after jogging. The 6pm feeling is a vibe!

Would you rather be forced to wear shoes every second of your life or never be able to wear shoes again?

I’ve never thought about a world of no shoes or only shoes ;)
When I was in a half marathon, one of these runners took part and I really admire it!

Yes, I admire it but would never follow in his footsteps. I was faster than him anyway, so probably don’t need to? ;)

What is your the best memory of your whole life?

sexy_mummy98’s Profile PhotoAleksandra Gawor
Being in the highlands of Scotland planting trees.
I took this picture in 2016. Most of the area had been grazed to death by deer, so we had to fence off the trees.
The first group came here in 1991 and this is what they did. Just look at both sides of the fence and how well the trees have grown! When it got hard, and it was often hard work, I just thought that one day I’ll achieve what those ppl in 1991 achieved.

Good luck with your law exams in September!
I haven’t studied for exams for a long time, not since 2006, but I do wish you well even if I have no advice to offer.

Should men be circumcised what do you think?

I don’t object to boys being circumcised, their parents should decide.
The anti-circumcision lobby should bear in mind how many adult men need to get circumcised because they develop problems, and how much more trouble is caused by something that could have been easily & painlessly done without them noticing.
Circumcision of children that goes wrong is horrifying, and should be dealt with by stricter regulations and licensing, not by the kind of ban that the lobby in America are calling for.

Thoughts on Boris Johnson?

Welshy2123
Johnson is and always has been a nasty, self-seeking, self-absorbed fraud who uses and discards his followers the country as though we were all the ex-wives he cheated on or the children he doesn’t see.
Sooner he’s gone the better, I’ve had my disagreements with Starmer (he isn’t anti-Brexit enough, for instance) but he’s bound to be better than Johnson, I just hope by enough to make a difference.

How old were you when you had your first alcoholic drink? 🍷

Confessedloser’s Profile PhotoTJ
Apart from communion wine and sips of sherry at my nan’s, when I was 13 and a family friend was leaving home for college. I got blind drunk on one Pernod! Wish I still could, but alas.
