No..we dont. To be more precise, we used to take bath in rivers without soaps or shampoos by using gramflour, turmeric, etc for skin and sikkakai for hair. But now we pollute it by using soaps and shampoos. We have this tradition of serving rice flakes (pori) for the fishes in rivers and before, they were not packed in plastic covers. But now, they are sold in plastic covers and people just throw it in the river after feeding the fishes. So, the problem here is that many things or actions in our culture is in harmony with nature, but it is because of so called development which is accepted by people to use in the cultural aspects, brought the trouble. 🙆
Why do some people hate to see others happy? 🙃
It is called ‘jealousy‘. We all have such humanly trait naturally. Some personality types have it big, others small. There is also external nurture which can either develop such trait further or succumb it rationally. It's like dishonesty and honesty. Usually people who are not secure tend to have such feelings towards others who are more successful than themselves. It is possible to learn to overcome jealousy. 🌚🙃

Sometimes, people take a person being kind as them being easily manipulated, as awful as that sounds. Since it is a common trait of nice people to not want to overstep and hurt another in the process, they often end up refraining from saying anything, no matter how much they want to. So, they can be manipulated and taken advantage of. Basically, that statement means that being kind isn’t the same as rolling out a doormat for people to walk all over. ✌️🌚
