Do you like steampunk?

I like FFVI style steampunk -- fallen world, tech is in the background, stuff looks worn and used and barely works, details are left a bit mysterious or mystical... a world where getting technology to work takes massive investment to get limited results. There's an air of desperation in everything. That's what I like.
I don't like brass-gears-and-goggles-with-top-hats-and-corsets-style steampunk.

What cake does darkcake like?

Darkcake likes those individually packed spiral roll cake slices you can get in the supermarket for 99 cents (half off if you wait a while). Well, honestly, she'd like to eat a tastier cake, but it's just a waste of money...
Sometimes her onee-chan spoils her and brings tasty cakes from the fancy bakery. She pretends that she just bought too much, but Darkcake knows what's going on. Her onee-chan is really a good cake, you know? People shouldn't judge her so harshly...

Well, if there's anything to that it might be this: some people have this h8rs gonna h8 attitude -- I think think that's right, but you gotta apply it the other way around, too. Praise and positive attention are also to be dismissed on the same ground. All the matters is your daily dedication to your work -- not the results, not the way it's situated in your life or the world's politics or anything else -- just the daily practice of doing the work. Push that rock.
If that's the vision, then spotlights don't really factor in one way or another.

Have you ever seen or played the Danganronpa series? They just announced Danganronpa 3: The End of Kibougamine Gakuen anime and game at the same time... but they haven't done the anime of the second game yet, much less of the spin-off that is in the middle of 2&3...

I'm playing through the first game now. I'm not very far in though... I just got to the BLOODLUST case. ;w;
I'm enjoying it so far. I always enjoy these death game scenarios... especially in those moments where people get pushed to the edge and their "true selves" come out... kukuku...~!

For armor design anon: 'Boob holders' on women's chest pieces literally defeat the purpose of the armor. It seriously just would not work, you're wearing -minimum- two layers under that armor... probably more like four.

Aesthetics can trump sense, though -- check out pretty much every soft sci-fi space ship design ever.
So yeah, it's a factor, but a factor amongst many others. Frankly, I think people make too much of a fuss over that particular point for stupid political reasons. Fictional designs work because they draw on stuff tucked deep down under the hood of our caveman brains: Darth Vader looks like a spooky skeleton + a creepy black bug, Klingon birds of prey have this hunched over look like a flexing dude with giant trapezius muscles, the evil general has always wears horns with black armor and spikes because spikes and probably some snake or spiders in there somewhere. And of course you gotta have armor that looks like rippling muscles, or powerful animals, etc. There's no reason to take boobs off the table.
Well, that's what I think, anyway.
