So when someone says “You’re beautiful/handsome.” and you reply with “Thanks, I know.” is that being conceited or being confident?

Well, tbh it does sound a little conceited but not in a reprehensible way. Someone who knows they are beautiful inside out doesn't have to rub it under each and everyone's nose, they could say thank you and that's that. XD But still if you answer this way it's still acceptable and I believe it's still part of being confident. Because accepting your own beauty does not mean that you don't accept this on other people as well.

To me, self-respect does not include to look down on others in views, opinions or positions. If you do that, you definitely conceited and not confident. Someone who has already confidence knows it does not come from putting people into place, but only from your inner strength.

Well, yes.
I tried to get rid of my trust issues but they are still with me because I am still healing. I didn't heal completely of what was hurting me in the past but I try to evolve when I feel ready to grow out of it. I don't want to become too bitter to not enjoy my life to the fullest. And I want to let people in again. Some day.

I think it really depends on how close and mature you are.
For me personally, I moved to my best friend, who is my partner now, when I was 16 due to some problems with my family. And we are still together. So it all depends.

I'm not that good at cooking I admit.
I'd rather bake some cake or muffins or whatever my guest like to have baked x'D I'm good at baking sweet things. And make them coffee or tea with it. That's what I'm good and comfortable with.

When you slow yourself down and find comfort in the little things of life. It might not sound helpful at first but most of the time people who want to find happiness and peace have to start working on their own mindset. Trying to distract oneself from the business and stress of life is one step further to achieving your own kind of happiness - in my opinion. Practice Selfcare.

I do.
Because I think there are still so many things happening right now that we can't explain even with the technology we have right now. Well, before people had turned themselves into sciences they believed in magic, witches and such. I still think people tend to see the world like this if they can't explain something it isn't real, magic or nonsense. I think we still need to discover it some more, to prove that it's real. For those who can't believe without "seeing".

My environment around me is more rural.
My partner and I call it small Italy because it is full of fields with wildflowers, also two large fields full of sunflowers and on other parts with vegetables and fruits.
We live in a village-like region 40 or 50 minutes away from a city. It's really idyllically. We have many birds around here like Milan's. Wild rabbits. Raccoons. There are many farmers around, who own horses, cows etc. And a lot of neighbours own cats. (which is adorable x3)
I love to live so close to nature, but still, I miss living close to water. I grew up there and I will always feel more at home when I can smell salty, cold ocean air around me. x'D
