If I were to send you a gift through Steam (if you even accept gifts), which email should I send it to? :3

If you really wanted to you should let me know on Twitter or via the contact form on my site and I'll add you as a Steam friend so no email is necessary. That's very kind of you!

When will the long awaited elgato streams happen? Like GTAV exploration

They have been long awaited and I'm sorry for that. There's a decent chance I'll end up streaming Dark Souls 2 from my 360 so that would be a start I suppose. The hope was to do GTA 5 multiplayer but then I learned my internet is too crappy to both stream and play. For exploration though it should work.

Are you alternate universe Edmund McMillen? You can trust the Internet, trust me, the Internet.

He's a cool guy who is very passionate about games, very artistic and really good at understanding what makes a game fun - and he's one of the developers I feel most inspired by - so being an "alternate universe Edmund" would be a pretty cool thing, but I'd need a lot more similarities to him to feel that it was an apt comparison!

Which was the first indie game you remember playing?

It's really hard to say... I know I played many games that were "(modern?) indie games" before anyone cared about that classification - Cave Story, Eternal Daughter, World of Goo, Spelunky... I think I played all of those before the big "indie renaissance" with Braid, Limbo, Super Meat Boy, Bastion, etc.
I'm sure there were many more long before even the ones I mentioned (I've been a gamer on both console and PC/Mac for basically my whole life) but I don't have a line to draw to say which games are relevant to the question, you know?

are u a fan of norwegian death metal

Not particularly or specifically, but I'm sure there are a few bands of that ilk that I'd enjoy regardless.

If aliens attacked would you fight or run and hide in a box or something?

Trend
If aliens attacked I don't think hiding in a box is going to really lead to a long and happy life unfortunately... I don't know how much I'd care to fight (I'm not really the fighting type) but maybe it would be the best option. I think I'd probably hesitate or become paralyzed with indecision.

Not really a question, but what the hell. Thanks for inspiring me to start a YouTube channel Nick! ^_^

You're quite welcome! I wish you luck for the journey ahead. There will be many trials and tribulations.

sorry to hear about your past circumstances, hang in there man! you constantly cheer me up with your upbeat attitude and I hope you find what you're looking for. I have been dealing with similar circumstances so hope we're both taken care of soon :)

Thanks very much for the kind words! I hope you find who/what makes you happy as well.

Have you ever heard the wolf cry to the blue corn moon? Or asked the grinning bobcat why he grinned? Can you sing with all the voices of the mountains? Can you paint with all the colors of the wind?

How many colors are really represented in the wind anyway? Is it all of them?
If you asked me to paint with no colors you'd be basically thinking in the same way I used to try to think to get myself through my college projects. Convenient/art: B+ works for me.

Do you plan on doing a video on Magicite? I'm interested in it, but would love to see an impression video before I commit :P

I don't think I've actually heard of it... I tend to get tunnel vision about the games I'm recording sometimes because I'm going through so many. With Terraria, Spelunky, Our Darker Purpose, Tower of Guns, Super Meat Boy, Jazzpunk and 7 Indie Impressions videos a week I often lose sight of the bigger picture. I also forget to look at what more well-known games are coming up sometimes since I just have my circles that I tend to look in for obscure games.

Shall we look for love, wait for love or forget totally about it?

Shall "we"? That's a pretty weird thing to make a broad generalization about, wouldn't you think? Everyone has different circumstances.
Personally I'm somewhere between waiting and looking I suppose. It'd be fantastic to find someone but I'm not an overly extroverted or social person so it doesn't exactly happen easily for me. I don't go out to bars, I don't really party, and for the most part I'm a pretty quiet person - so as you'd imagine, meeting people is a bit tricky. I don't mind long-distance relationships, but the logistics of that can be really difficult (although I believe it can be worth it too).
I guess I figure the person who would be right for me wouldn't be dissuaded by what I do/my anxiety issues so things would hopefully work themselves out - and that's where the waiting comes in.

A little late, but how did you enjoy guesting on Psychedellic Eyeball's Spelunky LP?

Of course! I'm always surprised when we do those videos together how quickly time passes. I'm so used to doing 30 minutes of talking solo that 10 min of giving like 1/4 of the commentary seems like nothing.

Are you afraid of falling in love?

Possibly. It really sucks a lot when you think you know who you wanted to spend your life with and then you don't get to for reasons beyond your control. I think once that has happened you need to relearn how to be trusting since it feels like someone could do that again... but it's something I need to deal with. Preferably sooner than later.

Do you plan on streaming Dark Souls 2, making videos for it on Youtube, or nothing at all and just play it on your own?

I really don't know what I'm going to do with DS2... I don't even know what I'm buying it for since the PC version is a few weeks later than console but I don't really have the money to buy it twice. It's really confusing and annoying actually!

How long do you think you'll do your Our Darker Purpose lp or is it entirely dependent on viewer reception?

There are really just two factors: am I in the mood to play it, and will people actually enjoy watching it (especially over other series'). When one or both of those become no, I start to wonder if I should be making other plans - and I usually do.

What is your favorite way of wasting time? (There is a wrong answer but no right answers)

Trend
I often get pulled into the never-ending social media cycle of Youtube, Reddit, Twitter, Facebook, email - by the time I've done a lap it's time to start again since likely something has changed. It's a good problem to have sometimes, but it has also killed hours of productivity.

Why is it so unlikely to see you on the streets? Are you not the one who goes shopping, or just go walking?

Bigfoot
Who said it's unlikely? If you hug me then tell me to "keep it up" you're probably drunk. :P

Imagine: You walk on the street, to get cat food and stuff, when suddenly, someone walking in front of you, and give a hug, then tells you to "stick 'em up and keep it up". How'd you react?

Are you drunk?
