Do you know any one from different country

Wo wurdest du geboren und wo lebst du aktuell? Was gefällt dir an dem Ort?

Mayonym’s Profile PhotoMayonym
I was born and raised in Lithuania for 19 years. I finished my studies there and after graduating I came here to my current husband. The place I grew up all those years was a village. We lived in poverty all the time. I wore second-hand clothes, we ate only food that we made ourselves. If not for the financial burden, I probably wouldn’t have wanted to leave my homeland. I never imagined that I would have to spend the rest of my life in another country. Of course I am now an adult and I am responsible for two children. Therefore, I have to look at everything more realistically. 😏

Wie findest du bis jetzt die Staffel 4 von Stranger Things? ( also falls du sie guckst) ?😃

Very good series.
Talented actors and, in fact, we have them from Lithuania as well: - Karolis Kasperavičius (Russian security guard), Andrius Paulavičius (lead interrogator), Vaidotas Martinaitis (supervisor Melnikov), Saulius Bareikis (Russian doctor), Tomas Žaibus (Russian security guard)
I’m proud that something was created that caught my eye ☺️

What is your dream vacation destination? Assuming money isn't an issue (within reason of course, no buying trips to the moon) where would you go?

Probably india. It's supposed to be beautiful, and yet totally different in every way from the UK. Antarctica would also be good, or Iceland. Damn, I want to go travelling now. I really can't afford it.
A road trip where I just couch surfed all around America meeting new people and hearing new stories. I'd love to stay with complete strangers every night and talk and get to know them, unfortunately that runs the risk of getting me murdered by a psychopath, so my dream vacation would have to stay my dream vacation.
I didn't go on vacation last year, so I decided I really needed one this year but had no plans besides next week. I almost ended up flying down to Florida or renting a cabin in the woods, but now I'm going to NJ. I have family there, beaches, and I'm gonna go to NYC one day. I'm excited. I might do something on the drive there and back. I'm not sure if I have a dream vacation besides going somewhere new. I'm going on a cruise this winter and I'm super excited because I've never been somewhere warm and tropical. And I'm going to swim with Dolphins when I go! :D
Two full weeks. Something completely, if not overly, budgeted so I don't need to budget on the fly during the trip. I'm obsessive about that sort of thing, so being able to relax a bit about it somehow is key. I'm not really sure where or when, but I just know my dream would be able to take 2 weeks, and have enough money saved/budgeted to enjoy myself without having to worry about "we spent too much" on return. I think it's the reason I simply end up using all my vacation days for 3-4 day weekends throughout the year. It allows me an extra day to recharge, I can complete errands I normally can't get done, and I don't have to worry about planning anything.
After visiting Muir Woods on my recent trip to the USA, I'd say two weeks driving from San Francisco through Redwood National Park to Portland for northern summer, to get away from winter. Then spend two weeks exploring Tasmania for summer at home.
I'd like to tour Europe at my own page. So basically unlimited fuel for the car. Just...travel where my gut tells me to go. Explore all there is to explore, learn about the country. If I don't like it, leave, if I like it, stay a week max.
Stay at the locals' motels, rooms as cheap as possible. Chat with locals, live their lives for a bit, taste the local food. From Lithuania to Ireland, there's plenty to experience. And, let's be honest, some European countries have beautiful men.
First summer in a long time that I spend at home due to real life obligations. I'd normally spend two weeks in Italy serving as a youth counselor for a summer camp, which has been kinda fun for the last couple of years. Italy itself is a nice country and I'd definitely would want to go there. Trade the camp for a nice hotel, reduce the group I'm traveling with to the people I like and make sure to visit cities like Florence sounds like a decent plan.

If civilization restarted and you had to pick the best location to build the first city, which location would you choose to ensure a long term strategic and economic advantage?

AdrianaRafaela98’s Profile PhotoAdriianna Rafaella
I'll pick the baltic region. The one I'm from.
Baltic region (Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania) has great resources - forests, fields, access to sea. No earthquakes, no volcanos, no tsunami, basically we're safe from the most catastrophes. All 4 seasons.

Do you enjoy travelling on a ferry?

nai269549’s Profile Photoʟᴇɪᴀɴ ♕
I've taken the ferry from Helsinki to Tallinn multiple times, from Helsinki to Stockholm multiple times, from Turku to Stockholm multiple times, from Turku to Maariehamn once and from Puttgarden to Rødby once. So I guess I've travelled from Finland to Estonia and Sweden and from Germany to Denmark on boat. Sometimes in the other direction as well. Most of the time it's because I'm travelling by car and it is not amphibious, so I can't drive it across the water. It's very common to take a ferry across the Baltic sea. All the routes I mentioned are pretty busy and it's kinda cheap. Without a car even cheaper. It's definitely common here and also in the Mediterranean. Life if you're going to Sardinia or Corsica or Elba or whatever you'll probably take a ferry. If I'm not travelling by car I'd rather not use a ferry, though. They're super boring. There isn't much to do but to play cards with your mates. And if you're alone, solitaire is the only option. The morning ferries to Tallinn are the worst, everybody is basically sleeping and they always for some reason show darts on the TVs. So an airplane would be a far better option because it's quicker. Less time sitting on a boring boat, more time exploring the places you want to explore. Of course I don't know what your reason to avoid air travel is, maybe getting a bit bored isn't as bad as airplanes are for you.
It's usually more expensive than flying, and if you don't have a car, it can be hard to get to the harbor in some cities, because public transport can be pretty sporadic and some harbors are out in the middle of nowhere. This is something you'll have to research in advance. I still like it more than flying and will take any chance to take a ferry. Can't speak for Ireland, but I really liked my last couple of ferry trips in the Baltics (I've gone from Germany to Denmark, Lithuania and Norway). Dover to Calais is about an hour and a half. The Isle of Wight is less, about 40 minutes I think. So both are fairly short. There's cafés, shops and other things on board. There are multiple levels and lots of seats in different places, outside and inside. Nothing too fancy but it's certainly more than just sitting down on a bus haha. Obviously it will depend somewhat on the company and the specific ship you're on as to what there is, but in my experience it's not bad on board at all.

Did you have a locker during high school? Did you decorate it in any way? Did you tend to store anything else other than school supplies and books? 📚🎒

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
if openly there are no lockers in Lithuania. There is only a backpack that you will carry with you all your life. At first, it is heavier than you yourself. But later will fit perfectly.

How long have you been living in Germany? Why did you move here?

Necrontyr’s Profile PhotoNecrontyr
good question.
My first arrival was in July 2016.
I stayed here as a guest for two months and because a serious reason I returned to Lithuania.
My second arrival was in November 2017.
I arrived at the beginning because I found a second half who worked here in Germany.
and finally I stayed here for financial stability. In Lithuania, my monthly income was very low, I lived in poverty. I had to choose 🥲

You know you're in Sweden when you see people in non sleeved shirts on the balcony opposite to yours taking in the sun when it's 11° C / 53° F outside 🤣 How's it where you live? Are people obsessed with the sun? ☀️

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Lithuania isn't a very sunny country as well so people go outside as soon as the sun comes out. today was a very sunny and warm (17 C) day so I went outside twice (i even skipped a class because i wanted to go for a walk lol) - the second time i rode my bike and the smell of the wet pinetrees in the park and the sweet smell of spring made me feel so alive. my mood heavily depends on the weather so i always love spending time outside when it's sunny

Questa canzone in particolare, la ascolti e ti pare di averla già sentita.
Poi lo stile di canto che ha questo ragazzo è unico.
Non so perche, mi ricorda un pò Francesco Gabbani.

You have moved to Indonesia from Lithuania for that guy??is that true. OH GOD ! Why couldn't I find any girl like you😢. Do you have any other sister who is still single? 😆

Instead of being jealous, you should start doing something. If you do your best - Allah will help you. Also, Allah will send you a right person at the right person. So, be patient, but don't be lazy.
And yeah, I have sister who doesn't want to communicate with me at all, and she hates Muslims. I don't know who you are, but she would never be interested anyway. What a normal girl would be interested in a guy who writes such things for a girl he doesn't know?..
If you feel that desperated, you can go to a marriage office or talk to your parents about arranged marriage (if you're Muslim) Good luck! ☺

Actually, I know nothing about you except that you live in Lithuania and have a fiance in Indonesia and wanted to go there. I do apologize for even asking, I didn't expect you to respond so negatively as you were nice the last time I asked on your page, which was a very long time ago. Good day.

Lol!!! And this time you talk differently and even said that I live in Lithuania 😂😂😂 You're so funny!

Post a picture of your Father😊 It's Fathers Day 🖤❤ wish them with a great respect And those who are angry with them say sorry 🙏😌 and hug them kiss them with love 😙 they are the real heros 😊

In which country is father's day today? In Lithuania father's day was few weeks ago. And I do not think it is smart idea to upload your father's photo on ask.fm even if it is father's day. Isn't it better to wish him happy father's day or something like that? Anyways, have a beautiful day!

Why,not? Lithuania is a member of the EU and NATO. It was part of the Former Sovjet Union. There is a history there, miss. You are the second Lithuanian who can speak Dutch I have met now. Wrm mis je Litouwen? Why cant ya go back?

+3 answers in: “Jij spreekt Nederlands? (Bio) en je woont in? Litouwen?”

Excuse me, Almost. Has your grandfather ever told you stories about Lithuania while it was under Communist rule?

Hi, anon. Both of my grandfathers are a long time dead, I don't even have any memories left of them (except one memory, but I sometimes think if it wasn't just a dream). But all we do in school is learn Lithuanian history, so was there something you wanted to know about communism?

I just feel sorry for you. 😅 because it is pretty sad and i don't want to see how another person goes the wrong way again.. Alcohol can ruin your life,so don't use it too much. But yeah,I saw a lot of people in Lithuania like that and that is so sad..And no one can help most of them anymore..😞

Well the thing is that I just don't wanna hurt myself or I'm not psycho :D I just feel amazing when I drink and be with the people I love. The truth about this life is that we all will die, the thing that matters is that when that one will happen. Yeah, I kinda feel like I'm Lithuanian because I lived there and know the situation :D Thanks for thinking about me, darling. It really means a lot to me
+3 answers in: “Dooonnn't drink tonight otherwise you will complain and die again.😒😒”

ah, I wish... :) I'm a total beginner. I got this guitar last year and started learning, but then managed to break one string when tuning it and that was the end :D I got busy with other things later, and somehow I never found the time or motivation to buy new strings and change them... until now!

How you can be beginner if you got it last year, you could at least learn something. :) now I see, girl. so you better learn it and make your own music! :D today I talked with KTU and asked if there is way not to pay tuition fee for the master degree. Trying a way to come to Lithuania :D but IDK if doing right or not
+8 answers in: “labas, Nijatai :D Kaunas calling. how was your day?”

I see :) With the right people, any city can feel like a nice place to live, I guess. Well, I'm supposed to be working, but at the moment I'm not. I'm taking a break from everything, kind of. Told you I'm already pretty old :D

that's right, girl. if you find the peace where you can, you can just stay in that place. There were two cities that I found it: Kaunas and Istanbul. I don't know why, but felt like that. oh come on, I know the old people in Lithuania :D you should not be that old tho. maximum 25 I would say :D
+20 answers in: “are you in Lithuania or Azerbaijan??”

like diamond :))) hell yeah! VERY ACCURATE :D so that means you quite liked it here. not everyone wants to return to Lithuania, I guess very few foreign students actually return :) eh, I kinda miss that time when I was a student...

well I was there for like 1 year and of course I liked, it's true Lithuania is small country, and Kaunas doesn't have so many places to go, but still. night life, friends and other things make me go there again and stay for more 2 years :D so it means you don't study at the moment and you work :D genius
+20 answers in: “are you in Lithuania or Azerbaijan??”

well, you said "next time I come there", that's why I asked:) it's interesting that most Azerbaijanis know pa rusky, even the younger generation. a lot of younger Georgians don't know it anymore or at least they say so. RU is a very useful language, though. RU swear words are also very expressive :D

noo, first you asked that "so you think there will be a "next time"?" and that's why I just got surprised why you asked that, made me feel you are waiting :D joking. for my master degree I have several places on my mind, so Lithuania can be too. I will just check the requirements and possibilites of getting full scholarship and live in Kaunas again) actually GE people know Russian more I think. for the Lithuanian people Russian and Polish words are like diamond :D you know what I mean))
+20 answers in: “are you in Lithuania or Azerbaijan??”

I tried learning Persian when I was younger, they have this sound too, I could pronounce it back then, but not sure about now, it's been a while... I guess I would need some practice to get it right :) either way, I LOVE this sound!

You can continue practicing, it's amazing to learn new language and have it on you) I try to learn as much as Lithuanian I can. Actually, when I was in Lithuania I could get what people were talking about after living there for some time. Next time I come there I will just learn it more :D
+20 answers in: “are you in Lithuania or Azerbaijan??”

Nijatas...yeah:) we love our -as/-is endings :D I had a friend at uni who worked with cell cultures (biochemistry), her name was Cemsel,so people called her "semsel" first which eventually became "stem cell" :D I'm used to TR spelling. but AZ has some sounds that TR doesn't have. such as x (my fav!)

yes, yes, Nijatas, my fav too :D it's also same in Russian surnames which is also same in Azerbaijan with the ending of "-ov", for example Nijatov :D. stem cell was good one :D ahahha your last sentence got me. can you say X because lots of people in Lithuania couldn't :D
+20 answers in: “are you in Lithuania or Azerbaijan??”

I guess you're right , by the way you all including turks, azeri and uzbek, turkmen tatar people and others are turkic nations you must friendly to each others because the world is full of conflicts and wars :)

TautvydasSt’s Profile PhotoКазимир
the conflict is in only at market, even there will be WW3 it will be only about marketing. we are friendly of course, lots of diplomatic relations bla bla. well the truth is Lithuania have to give the money back to UN till the end of year, so wait for that:) told you "marketing" stuff
+1 answer in: “I have ono more question to you -what's about relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey ? Do you hate turkish people or love it ?”

TautvydasSt’s Profile PhotoКазимир
well from the perspective of history, I don't like because they were the ones (with arabs) that tried to invade Azerbaijan, but if we can look at the current situation, I don't have any problems within that one. it's the same with Lithuania and Germany(and England too), most lithuanians say they hate Germans, but Klaipeda is full of Germans :d or moving to England even you look at the history itself.
