I don't like to see that kind of shock, awe and fear on people's faces so- not the money grabber.
Not the getaway driver because self preservation requires too much of an impulse to save yourself. The getaway driver has too much work to do, angst to experience and things to feel.
I'd be the lookout...'cause I can read tf out of a room, people and my surroundings. As long as the plan is being stuck to and timely we-all going home paid and safe

Ever been rejected?

Yes. Everybody has. By someone, somewhere or some thing for some reason(s).
The 🔑 key to understanding rejection is that it's not all 1 (blanket) thing.
1) OVERQUALIFICATION:
Some people (or even jobs) will reject you because they have know the have to measure up/level up (or pay up) They are not gonna stand in your face and admit that or send you a rejection letter explaining that
2) COMPETITION:
Some people (or even higher ups/leaders at jobs) will reject you because they feel you are a competitive distraction--from them
3) PROTECTION & REDIRECTION:
All rejection is protection or direction.
Protection - the spirits were looking out for you and you possibly dodged a bullet
Direction - there's more for you out there and had you settled for that one thing, you may have missed the actual one or thing for you
4) ONLINE:

You see, there's a psychology behind the key words and the whole set up when it was set up:
👍"followers"
👎"friend/unfriend" etc.
Immediately at first glance, those words set the tone rejection or acceptance.
And what happens is. Major corporations and brands started to seek marketing by that. People started to play on that. And social media is like the instigator behind it all-but playing both sides (with a grin😈).
The "people" know that with enough of their thumbs 👍 and 🗣rah-rah surrounding you, the brands and corps will feed you🍴 and they ALSO know (sitting smack dead in the audience of your glory, promise and potential)
that to withhold (via hate/envy or whatever), they can stop your major bag💰🍝.
The other half may love you but are simply, by nature

Should I accept being someone's last option?

AbSOULutely never.
Immediate non reception and later reception is indeed option. And most probably out of boredom or a "better" option / choice unavailable.
That goes with everything from dating/relationship to a mere invitation or conversation.
Never let people treat you or connect with you or deal with you as a last resort or option. They will never respect you.

I would never hurt [someone in my life]'s feelings intentionally, initially.
If ever someone is hurt by me, trust and believe, they are hurt by my reaction or my decision to cut them off/walk away (via my inaction).
For either of those to reactive reasons, I don't ever, never have—or ever would apologize for my reaction.
Because 1 thing for certain and 2 for sure, we are always in control of our actions. It's a decision-one that a simple conversation or decision to not act in ways that yield reactions that hurt us can avoid, Beloved.
Positive or otherwise.
Online or offline, work or play; with me, you will always get it how you give it.🙏🏽
