What would the world be like without religion?
This is a very controversial subject.
I think there are two sides to religion and the cultures/ traditions/ beliefs within...
Personally I find that religion is the base of a huge amount of war, conflicts and arguments in today's society. I feel that sometimes certain religious groups/people brainwash younger generations into following certain rules and beliefs which can effectively harm others! I don't feel that within certain religion it is a major sin to be gay, transgender or bisexual etc because I can think of far more disturbing things that would relate more to being seen as a sin!
On the other hand religion creates a life and path for individuals who feel lost and look to a belief/ God for guidance. Religion is good in the sense that it brings a large group of people together who are individually different. Religion can be a distraction for those who are troubled, that are maybe dealing with drug or alcohol problems or are just in a very dark place and they religion as a healing process!
