I'm not a big believer of 'All Men Are Same' theory but as far as optics are concerned this turns out to be quite true provided the man hasn't suffered a heartbreak which led him to doubt his own love.
He can find glimpses of his former love in the other woman but a point awaits where decision has to be made.
