Würdest du dein Kind so erziehen, wie deine Eltern dich erzogen haben?

I would probably educate my future children much like how my mother raised me, with some influence from how my sister has raised her children as well. I would also have to take input from the future mother of my children, too, of course.

Was versteht man unter Bildung?

Assuming you're asking about my education, I got as far as upper secondary school (aka. high school, graduated at age 19). Everything else relevant to my job has been more or less self-tough, aside for a few certifications in the early 2000's.

Would you rather only be able to whisper or only be able to shout?

Whisper, I think. I don't really like calling too much attention to myself.

What is the one thing you always wanted as a kid, but never got?

I actually can't think of anything in particular that I wanted so much. I wasn't spoiled, either, but I just don't think I wanted something that bad (if so, I probably never told my parents).

Which countries have you visited?

So far (not in order, and only counting those I've had at least one overnight stay):
Norway (where I live), Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic, Hungary, Croatia, USA, Canada, and Spain (Gran Canaria only).
And the just-in-transit ones (passing through, only a few hours, tops):
Finland, Slovenia, and the Netherlands.

If you could have anything you want for dinner tonight, what would you have?

If I really put my mind to it: chicken filéts with potatoes and ratatouilles. Or a ham and bacon italian-style pizza (thin crust).

What does the World know about the country you live in?

They are more or less aware of the place, but not so much about what life is actually like.

What age are you scared of?

Anything from around 70 and up. Not so much for the upcoming death thing, but more for dementia and/or alzheimers (where my family and loved ones would be slipping from my memory)

What is your goal in life?

Establish family of my own, gain financial freedom (to where I don't have to worry, or even think much about it).

@lizzzavine asks, "Would you rather have crazy turbulence on a flight or only be able to eat through your nostrils?”

If it's just one single flight, and I knew about the turbulence beforehand, I could probably work up the nerve to endure it. Otherwise, I'd rather do the nostrils thing.

What matters to you most - money, good looks or attitude?

Attitude, I think, as long as that includes not being rude.

Who do you trust more, your friends or your parents?

Depends on the situation. As a general rule, though, my parents.

How many books have you read in your life?

No clue, but I'm quite sure I don't have enough fingers and/or toes to count them.

Do you follow your brain or your heart?

Usually my heart, but my brain manages to prevent me from some awkward situations (and some times, it fails at that, too).

What’s your favorite public or state holiday of the year?

Christmas, I believe. It's a good time to relax, and spend time with family.

What social networking websites do you use?

Mostly Facebook and Twitter. On occasion, I also use Snapchat, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Vine, but only to read other's messages/feeds. I also have a few other social media accounts collecting dust somewhere.

What’s the nicest thing that anyone has ever said to you?

Something along the lines of "we're lucky to have you as an asset at our company" (some time ago, during a rough period where I helped out above and beyond).

How did you make your first money?

Designing a website for a guy who acted on a poster I had put up on a bulletin board. Mind you, this was back in 1996 or 1997, in the early days of commercially-available Internet access. I didn't have Internet at home, but I did have a computer running Windows 3.11 (yes, that old).

What is the most interesting city to visit in your country?

Besides the obvious one (Ålesund, where I live), I'm thinking Fredrikstad, or more specifically, Gamlebyen (the old town).

Which celebrities do you suspect are really aliens walking amongst us?

Bjørk is the most obvious one. Tom Cruise is a possibility, but he might be trying too hard to pass off as one.

What is the best way to deal with stress?

Listen to some calm music. Or, on a more general basis, find something fun that will distract you enough from whatever's causing stress.
