How many times a day do you look at yourself in the mirror?

A few. I glance at myself in the mirror when I wash my hands, in case there's something on my face. I usually only check my hair in the morning (when I need to brush it real quick before heading out).

People you may like

What countries would you travel to if you were to do a world trip?

In (somewhat) order towards west: Germany, Denmark, Sweden, UK, France, Spain, Italy, Iceland, USA, Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Thailand, India, Turkey, Egypt, Poland, Austria, Greece. Some of these still have an "iffy" political climate, so unless this clears up by the time I do get a chance for an around-the-world trip, I'll have to skip the ones that still have some unrest.

What kind of shoes do you wear the most?

Adidas sneakers. Very handy for when I suddenly decide to take a long walk after work.

Do you worry about your future?

Short-term future? A little bit. But in the long-term, no big worries there.

What was the last movie that disappointed you?

Hoodwinked Too (the sequel to "Hoodwinked"). Way too much jumping around the story for no particular reason, even though it had its funny moments.

What’s the last sport event you watched?

Most of the World Cup Final, but mainly because my stepdad was already watching it on TV while I was in the room. I'm not really a big sports fan, actually. I sorta keep track of the scores for the local football team, just to see how they're doing, and that's about it.

What music are you listening to right now?

It varies, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Over the last week, I was listening a lot to Highasakite and Garbage. In the coming week, I'm probably going to listen a lot to Weird Al's new album (which was released today, and I had preordered it on iTunes).

If you were an activist what would want to protest against?

I would protest FOR global human rights, along the lines of Amnesty International. So, basically, I would protest AGAINST human cruelty and unjustice in general.

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Working as an entertainer, maybe (either through song or through puppets), just as a side job to my current job as an IT tech.

What song defines your childhood?

Brilleslange by Knutsen & Ludvigsen (a Norwegian comedy duo for children, mainly active in the 1970's and 1980's). The song is a bit nonsensical, and just plain fun (and I'm a "brilleslange" myself - it's a Norwegian slang, similar to "four-eyes", but it's also the Norwegian name for the Spectacled cobra, or Indian cobra).

How do you get the last news?

Random Facebook posts (mainly from the local newspaper), push notifications from a few apps (online news services), and that's pretty much it these days.

If you could spend the next year living anywhere in the world, where would you go?

If money was no issue, I'd actually choose New York (USA). Just for a short while, though, since I'd miss my family way too much (parents, sisters, niece, newphew, and my grandmother).

If you had a boat, what would you name it?

Jenny. No idea why, but it's the first name that comes to mind.

What’s the best thing to do after a long and hard day?

Watching videos (either on YouTube, Netflix, etc), and sleeping.

Which is the place that you have always wanted to visit?

No one place in particular, but I do have a long list of places I'd like to go to at some point in my life.

Do we become happy only when we meet the one we love?

Not a requirement for happiness, but it sure would help.

Is there any person you are afraid of?

One person in particular, no. But I'm afraid of people who are violent (or are likely to be violent) to other people, which would be common sense, actually.

What sort of things would you do to amuse yourself during a car journey?

Reading news/articles and watching videos, either on my iPad or my phone, listening to music, and sleeping (a lot). I'm not really a big fan of long car journeys.

What is the best thing that has ever happened to you?

I have several moments on my list.
1. Holding my niece (2010), nephew (2012) and little sister (1997) in my arms for the first time. (I can't really place one over the other - they were all pretty damn amazing)
2. Every time I get compliments on how great I look after my weight loss so far (at the time I'm writing this, I've lost about 54 kg, or around 120 lbs, since I started in January 2012).
3. Getting a proper promotion (increased pay) at my current job a couple of years ago (I've been at this company since late 2003)

Post a pic of your favorite shoes?

Adidas trainers. Because I like it casual, and to always be ready for a long walk.

Which countries have you visited?

I'm only counting the countries where I've had at least one overnight stay (not just passing through by car/airport on the way to a different destination), so here goes....
Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Austria, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, U.S.A. and Canada. And, of course, my home country, Norway.

If you could make anyone in the world fall in love, which two people would you put together?

Aside from myself and my current major crush, nobody really comes to mind.

What's the worst nightmare you've ever had?

A fever fantasy I had in my early youth springs to mind. It was pretty abstract, intense and "blobby" (full of undescribable, "talking" blobs). It was while my family was on vacation, and I had gotten ill, with a fever. At the time, it was pretty awful, but I've gotten way over it by now.

What do you usually forget?

Many things that I'm supposed to do/remember. I'm pretty absent-minded, so I need hand-written notes in front of me to remember certain stuff.

What picture comes to your mind when you hear word "fun"?

An image of friends, laughing together on a ride at an amusement park.

Do you already have Ask.fm app for iPhone?

I don't have an iPhone, but I do have the app on my Android phone.

What’s your favorite method of shopping?

It depends on the item I'm shopping for, but usually online.

Language: English
