Why won't people accept directors who don't watch movies, but they'll accept game developers who don't play vidya?
Because as a relatively young and unrespected artform, any tosser thinks they can do it and do it well. Also plenty of people see the propaganda and political possibilities and since (again) it's a young art form with little respect there has been (until now) little cultural resistance to wannabes and exploiters.

What teacher in school made the most impact on you and why?
Mr Kettle, my English teacher - though not my English teacher for long enough. He was very animated, very encouraging, let us use his room to play RPGs in during lunch and just made English lessons come alive like nobody else. He also had a great grasp of etymology and meaning.
What is the best way to deal with stress?
Knock one out and then cry tears of guilt and self disgust like a Catholic Priest hiding in a ball pit.

I'm not the one who asked in the first place, but what's the difference between American and European pie?
When you say 'pie' in the USA it almost always means something sweet. In Europe pies are as likely - or more likely - to be savoury, meat pies.
What options are there for someone who is looking for an OSR game that's not a D&D clone or D&D-esque, for each of fantasy, cyberpunk, and supers?
