TLDR; - I try to be honest, empathetic and loyal and I kind of expect the same for people that I surround myself with. To have further explanations you can also read the text below. xD
I have set standards for myself but also for those that I do surround myself with. E.g. I expect people who have problems with me, to be honest about it, I believe that if someone gets close to me, if I allow to know me better and likewise someone let me see parts of them, then I think its basic respect, to be honest, but not cruel about problems and to talk about every misunderstanding that might affect the friendship/relationship.
And then we come to the second thing. Some people do believe, that when they need to be honest they have to be extra cruel to point out their opinion. And as Taylor Swift already mentioned, I can't be around people for long who are "casually cruel in the name of being honest".
Loyalty is another big thing for me. I can respect people who are loyal to themselves but I have problems seeing someone eye to eye, who is only able to do that alone. It's not fair to everyone else. And in my opinion, you lose credibility and respect if you constantly create hope in other people, while you personally aren't able to stick to your word.
Freedom is as well important to me, but it has boundaries. You are free to do whatever you like, but don't be stupid in the process, don't hurt other people and don't feel "free" to do so. Because you won't know how long your hurtful behaviour will stick with a person. You will probably forget what you have said but that person you intentionally hurt probably won't. Just try to keep the level of possible harm as low as possible, that's what I personally think, is the right thing to do.

Da würde ich pauschal nicht alle Menschen in einen Topf werfen. Aber in der Regel gibt es entweder einen trifftigen Grund oder du hast es mit einem Menschen zu tun, der nur sich selbst treu sein kann.

I have an idea what war is like. Not only through movies or games. But also through history lessons in school and personal memories from my family. So I am grateful that my only worries are to keep myself safe from the virus and to hope that all of my loved ones stay safe as well and those who already caught the virus, to hope that they survive.
