I'm sorry this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I really couldn't pick a favourite. I'm not a fan of quotes as I struggle to relate to them, be inspired by them ect. I've been very unwell recently and people have been sending me little messages that just don't help. I feel like a terrible person and especially because I know they mean well, but I'm just not a fan of most quotes. I find a lot of them cryptic and a bit full of bullshit. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that words can motivate people, but it has just never worked for me.
What comes to mind when you read the phrase "not even a nibble..."? P.s, it's a reference to something, I want to see how many people will know haha
I cheated and Googled it and I'm so angry at myself for not getting the reference! I haven't played Pokemon in such a long time. At first I just thought of food though. Nibble is a cute word. :'). Also reminds me of Nibbler from Futurama.

I'm sorry this is going to be such a boring and negative answer, but it's a truthful one. I don't live by any motto, and I don't really have any passions, hobbies or interests. The closest one I could say would definitely be music, but even so it's not as central to my life as it once was. I used to be extremely interested in football, writing and yoga/meditation but those days are long gone unfortunately. 😔

Obviously I'm into new bands and artists, but throughout my life I've always listened to rock/metal primarily. Cheesy pop on the side. A decade ago is around the time when pop music started becoming shit though. 90s/early 2000s was the best. I've always listened to and will continue to listen to a little bit of everything. :')

Do you think that bands have a duty to produce music similar to what their fans liked from them or can they do what they want even if it's drastically different? Does the advent of readily available music via streaming services like Spotify impact your opinion? (Inspired by Paramore's newest album.)
Well they can do whatever they please really, but they shouldn't expect to keep the same fans. At the end of the day, bands are providing us with a service. Just like a banker, travel agent, postman ect. it's their job. If I've hired the same painter and decorator for years and he comes round and does something completely different, that's well within his right, but it doesn't mean I'm gonna pay for his service again.

I do share the same opinion as you with the new Paramore album, however. I think maybe bands should call themselves another name under another project if they know their music is going to sound so much different than it used to.
