Reason for not wanting kids of your own?

If I was carrying a baby and something bad happened, I know in my heart I'd never be able to forgive myself.
If the baby survived, to be honest I wouldn't want it to turn out like me, have all the issues that I have and be miserable its whole life.
I wouldn't even want to bring a child into this fuck up of a world.
I don't have any maternal instinct. I'm fucking terrified of babies and if my own was ever placed into my arms, I don't know for sure that I would love it.
I guess a lot of it stems from hating myself, but still I just don't think it's for me. I love children, they're the most amazing little things, I just don't want any of them to be mine.
