What is something you've learned from others this year?

I've learned not to let people take advantage of me actually. It's a weird one because it's not like I didn't realise it was happening, it's more that I went along with things for an easier life. I guess I've learned that I deserve better than to be treated like that, and just because it might make things easier for me, it doesn't make it right.

There's a couple people I really like on here but my favourite is @millerwolf. He's got the right balance of answers in my opinion. I enjoy reading them cause they can be clever, thoughtful, honest, sarcastic, witty and even when he can't be arsed cause Ask is shit, he's still my favourite person on here. I was gonna make some joke about him taking both titles, but I'll be nice for once. :')
I don't really have a least favourite person but even if I did, tagging them would be a bit mean. There are people I only follow cause I like them in person though to be fair, a lot of people just post one word answers and it makes me wonder why they even have an account here.

In my case it's because I rarely believe any compliments or positive things people tell me. I grew up, especially in school with a lot of bullying and people in general just being horrible, so it's been drilled into me from a young age. I'm sensitive and take stuff to heart very easily, so something negative will stay with me and play on my mind. I'll worry about it, over analyse it and end up feeling really bad about myself. With a positive comment, it's just more of a "thanks" (whether I believe it or not) then I'll move on with my life. Negativity stays around a lot longer.

If your last dream turned out to be real, how different would your life be now?

I dreamed that my boyfriend carried me from Preston to Blackpool so I guess I would be have been dropped somewhere and he would have very sore legs. 😅

It depends how the comments are given to me in all honestly. I'm more likely to get over it quicker if someone is just expressing concern or looking out for me. If someone is just being mean though, I'll get really upset about it and spend the rest of eternity worrying and going over what they said. Like I say though, it depends on the circumstances. I'm not really bothered if some anon on here is rude, but in person I'll take stuff much more serious. I even still think about horrible things people have said to me as a teenager and younger.
I guess to summarise, if someone is being genuine and being honest for my benefit then fair enough. If I'm getting negative comments from someone just wanting to hurt me, unfortunately they'll always succeed. I know it's stupid because I shouldn't care what people think of me, but it's a lot easier said than done.

Yeah, of course. I'm very skeptical about it, but that just makes me even more interested. I highly doubt that it would work for me but especially with my issues, I'm in a state of mind now where I'd be willing to try anything. I don't actually know much about hypnosis to comment fairly, but yeah I'd probably give it a go given the chance.

What's your favourite item of makeup?

I'd probably go with eyeliner. I suck at applying it and always will, but I like it on myself and always admire other people's. Either that or mascara. They are probably the two that give me the most confidence.

TRIGGER WARNING-I have just watched a true movie where a mom supported her r*pist son who was found guilty-my question would be, could you ever support your son/daughter or would you disown them if they had done this?

I think this is something you can't really comment on unless you've been through the situation. What I imagine I'd do is visit them in prison and try and get inside their mind, I'd want answers and to know what I did wrong to bring up somebody capable of doing such a thing. I in no way would support my son, I'd be horrified, disgusted and feel some guilt myself.
My initial reaction was that I'd disown them, but I don't think you can ever actually know for sure. Either way, I'd struggle to even look at them or be in the same room as them. Thinking that someone you brought into the world, looked after and cared for had been found guilty of rape... it's not something I could ever forgive.

What's something you're looking forward to?

I'm looking forward to watching Papa Roach and Seether in October. I'm absolutely terrified at the same time but I haven't been to a gig in ages so it's mostly exciting! 😊

First of all, you're beautiful 😍 also, if someone called you out for having stinky feet, would you accept it, or would you deny it and give an excuse 😂

What goes through your head to ask questions like this? I would deny it because it wouldn't be true, but then I'd probably get really paranoid about it.

Well yeah, if someone's name stops you from dating them then you can't really like them all that much to begin with. I would probably still find it quite weird at first though.
