Sorry I'm answering this a week late. I haven't been on Ask much recently! My week is going okay, I suppose. I've been a bit down because my volunteering work isn't working out as planned, but I'm trying not to let it get me down. It's difficult, though. I'm going out on Friday night and seeing some friends, so hopefully that will lift my mood. I'll also be seeing my boyfriend over the weekend. I hope everyone else is having a nice week. ✨

What life lessons have you had to learn the hard way?

I had to learn who my real friends were the hard way. In 2017 I was very ill and had to stay in hospital for a while. Some of my friends (or so I thought) didn't bother to visit, didn't even bother to message or text. It hurt a lot, but I'm grateful to the ones who were there for me. ☺️

Do you ever go to pub quizes?

Yes! My local rock bar has a pub quiz every Thursday. I used to go quite often, but haven't been going as much lately. I'm still unsure whether to attend tomorrow. Anyway I'm not very good and pretty much no help at all in a team, but it's all good fun. 😅

Ever met anyone off ask?

Yeah, I have actually. He isn't active anymore, but we started following each other about nine years ago on Ask. After he left the platform, we kept in touch through Facebook and Instagram. He's a really lovely person. We were friends for years and then not that long ago actually, we decided to meet up in real life. I was very anxious, but I'm glad we did it. It was surreal!

Nah, I'm not into watches. I was looking in TK Maxx a few months ago though, and found a really pretty one. I'm not usually into watches but this one was gorgeous. It was black and gold/silver. When I looked more closely at it, I think it was designed by Kylie Jenner so that put me right off. 😂

I've been dying my hair since I was thirteen. I'd list every colour, but it's just easier to say I've had every colour apart from bright yellow. I wouldn't be opposed to that either, but it's not high up on my list. 😅. I've always really disliked my natural hair colour and dying my hair makes me feel more confident. I currently have half black and half green.

I wasn't a sporty kid. The most active I ever was, was in PE at school. My favourite sports to play in PE were netball, rounders and basketball. I wasn't particularly good at any of them, but they were the ones I didn't mind doing. The worst one for me was hockey! It used to make my back ache so much. 😅. In the last year of school, we used to go to a local gym and do yoga. It made me fall in love with it. I've been doing yoga on and off for years since then. I should really pick it back up! That was something I really enjoyed.

Type of woman you go for?

I really can't answer this, because most women I have ever liked have been completely different from one another. I was going to say I usually prefer petite women, but I've actually liked curvy girls too. I also find more masculine looking women attractive, but also more feminine women. I guess it doesn't really matter to me that much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

In your personal opinion is it romantic if your partner cooks you a homemade meal.

It depends. If my boyfriend cooked me a homemade meal, I'd find it romantic. That's only because the most he's ever done for me is reheat pizza. 😅. A lot of people cook from scratch every day though, so that's not going to be as romantic if it's just part of normal life. Sorry for the late reply again by the way, I haven't been on Ask much recently and my questions build up so quickly.

Have you ever sold something on eBay?

No, I haven't. I have a bunch of clothes and shoes I need to sell, though. I was thinking of selling them on Vinted or Facebook marketplace. 👠

Are you on Bumble?

Nah. I had it for a short while a few months ago to make new friends, but it didn't last long. This girl messaged me, I panicked and then deleted the app. I'm no good at socialising or making friends, so it was a bad idea to begin with. I hope I didn't offend the girl too much by ignoring her! 😬

Are you photogenic?

I don't look too bad if I know the photo is happening. A nightclub posted a picture of me recently, and it was one they'd just taken randomly without telling me. They'd just zoomed in on my face in the crowd and posted it to social media. I look horrible and really gormless. 😅. It's not the best pic of me!

To be honest, I rarely get bad vibes from people. I think I'm too trusting, and I like to give everyone a chance. I've heard this happen quite a lot to people, though. I think there's a meme about it. Oh, here it is! 😅

Ever been to watch football or rugby?

Yeah, I used to have a season ticket to each Wigan Athletic. I stopped going when I was about 18. Since then, I've been to a few games here and there. I went to three games last season with my boyfriend. Here we are at one of the matches. I don't look like your average football fan hahah. ⚽

Do you like roller coasters?

Mostly not, unfortunately. It's really irritating too because I'd love to be able to go to theme parks more often. I'm not scared of roller coasters, but the ones that have a lot of steep dips give me this unbearable feeling in the bit of my stomach like I'm falling. My favourite ride is Avalanche in Blackpool Pleasure Beach because it goes fast, but there are no dips. 🎢
