My horse used to be crazy and scopes (he's a jumper) before summer and then we found out that he was sick and had ulcer. And now that he's all better he like rides with his head super low and I fall over the jump sometimes. Any tips to elevate him up to his scopes jump?

he's just a clients horse of my trainers and I just jumped him while she's gone lol
I mean I used to ride with a little bit longer stirrups and I liked my eq and felt more comfortable then. Now I feel like I'm falling over the jump. And trust me there really short 😂

I like riding with short stirrups, but lately I feel like when I'm jumping (small jumps since my horse just started since he was sick 😪) I lean and my legs go a little back which is unusual to me. Would u suggest making my stirrups longer?
