I've been on it for like 5+ years and trust me that's not even on the required list of side effects. It's such a low risk that it's not worth the way higher risk of pregnancy to avoid. Y'all need to stop fear mongering birth control just chill

That's actually not true regarding birth control. It can actually reduce the risk. Some types of birth control are associated with risks like that but the pill only really increases risk of blood clots which is more of an issue if you're predisposed to heart attack or stroke

(You don't really need to answer this) the pill is actually very bad for you... It causes ovarian and breast cancer. I just don't think its worth taking for fewer acne and less flow. Also there's other ways to have safe sex. I know this because a friend of mine was diagnosed earlier in the year.
the acne medication I take is required to have two forms of abstinence to legally take it. the pill is one of them. (the acne medication had serious birth defects)

Idk how birth control could ever be gross. You have to literally be 13 to think that it is in any way gross... I don't get my period at all. It is not gross it is amazing and to have the benefit that you have a higher chance of NOT getting pregnant whether it be by choice or rape, that's 💯
