I honestly don't understand why these people asked you a question about hunters being harder than jumpers and then you answered with your HONEST opinion and now they're calling you names. I'm confused on why people can't let it sink in that other people have different opinions.

This isn't to start an argument, but I do think there are many Hunter riders out there who should be as equally recognized as some of the top jumpers. Some of these hunter riders don't prefer the 'jumper pace'. I think if they liked the better pace better they'd be up in the top show jumpers.

I personally do hunters and tbh I think jumpers takes more skill... You have to stay out of you horses mouth over high fences, try to not knock them down and keep a speedy pace. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely loooove hunters and definitely think it's hard, but I'd say jumpers is a tad harder.

High level hunters they judge you on literally everything. Its not easy. It's really technical

I think hunters and jumpers are pretty equal. I understand it's your opinion, but their are tons of hunter equitation classes that take skill, not every 'jumper' could get on and ride it perfectly. But I do see where you're coming from. Just thought I'd throw out my opinion.
obv yea looking like it's easy is incredibly hard. but I just like jumpers better and I see why it's a international sport and how hunters is mostly Americas
Hunters compete for equally the same amount of money in some shows, so I don't see why people could care less about hunters. It takes time to ride the perfect line, and to keep the same pace. It may not be as easy as you'd think, I'd like to see you get on and ride one.
dudeeee. I know what hunters is about. jumpers is just much more technical. I've seen lots of winning hunter riders struggle in the jumper ring. if you don't like my opinion don't ask. obv I like jumpers more cause I don't do hunters anymore lol

I ride on the A circuit in both hunters and jumpers and I'd say they are pretty equal 🙃

than grand prixs and 1.50m classes? yes I am. not that hunters are easy. they're both different styles of riding you can't really compare them. but that they're not skilled? no, they are skilled, just not in the same ways as jumpers

Do you agree that you need more skills in hunters? Not saying that jumpers doesn't take skill, but in hunters it's based on even pace, and equitation. Jumpers is more so speed, and faults. They're equally challenging but do u agree you need more skills in hunters?
no hunters is more based on the horse and round not really the rider too much . jumpers is extremely hard
