Conrad is AMAZING at it. I got him to do a piroutee and he does his lateral movements so well. violet would be AWFUL and sheldon would be pretty good at it :) and Callie would be alright

TAILORED SPORTSMAN. pikeurs (however you spell them) are alright but they just don't fit your body as well.

Bitless vs bit (for horses)
ok here's my thing. if your horse is well trained and responsive to your cues even in spooky situations or whatever, and you Want to use bitless, then don't use the but as long as your an advanced rider and can send clear signals to the horse with out the bit. but the bit is mainly a safety and direction thing. if I'm trotting my horse down a path (idk) and he spooks and takes off, there's a very slim chance that he will immediately focus on that little piece of leather where it has almost no pressure and stop. and also say if I have to make a quick turn to the next jump, it probably wouldn't be as smooth with out a bit so he knows where he's supposed to go quickly. look at all the retired Grand Prix horses that used what you guys call very harsh bits, there is no injury or pain that even a vet can see.

ya anon here's my horse pick him up tomorrow at never land.
So I broke my foot a few months back and although the cast is off, the foot is still recovering. My ankle has been really stiff when I am riding so it is much harder for me to put my heel down, therefore leading to poor equitation. Any tips on how to loosen up my ankle and get my heel down more?
physical therapy I guess. one of my ankles is actually deformed from a break so it caused me to lean excessively for a long time so idk jus time and be aware of your body
