yes and no. like I'd rather buy the better horse under saddle that has bad ground manners (Violet) than one who's great on the ground and isn't as good. it's like a plus

I do hunters and my horse is a nice jumper but he doesn't move that well and I always feel a little bit behind my competition. I'm worried because I haven't shown all summer and I'm going to tryon soon like what if I mess up completely even tho I've been riding every day
I would have your trainer help you. maybe pull the shoes for the flat class? and just work on it with your trainer and tell them your concern
