what kind of questions do you find repetitive and uninteresting when it comes to finding out what kind of person someone is?

Just basic, closed-ended questions that simply have a yes/no answer are particularly uninteresting to me. It’s hard to learn much about someone when all you get is a one word response. There’s nothing to drive the conversation forward.
Like, sure, short and simple answers can be nice sometimes, but every single conversation you have in attempts to get to know someone shouldn’t be like that, in my opinion. It just gets very repetitive.
I prefer open-ended questions that can branch off in several different directions and create even more dialogue. I also find that the more open-ended and thought provoking your questions are, the more you can really learn who someone is. 😌

what can turn a bad day into a good day ? 🙃🙂

arrrby’s Profile Photo✨ Rare ✨ Essence ✨
A majority of the time, being with the people I love and care about can instantly turn my day around. Nothing really makes me happier than being around friends and family.
And if I, for some reason, can’t be with loved ones, being in nature is another guaranteed way to make me feel better. ☺️

Would you rather be an expert at one thing, or pretty good at many things?

rachelmyriehopp’s Profile Photomyrierahel
I’d rather be good at many things! I think being an expert on one thing is great and all, but for me personally, I’d find it boring after a while. I’d also worry I’d get burnt out just focusing on my expertise all the time.
I just really enjoy variety, to be honest! I like having numerous hobbies and a range of different things I’m passionate about. ☺️

Would you ever swim with sharks?

I mean, it sounds terrifying, but if given the opportunity, I definitely would! Like, as scared as I might be, it’s one of those things I still wanna experience at some point in my life. Just for the sake of saying I did it, and because I’d be pretty proud of myself for doing so, despite the fear factor. 😄

Have you ever gone camping? What did you think about sleeping outdoors? 🏕

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
I have gone camping several times, yes! I absolutely LOVE it! It’s been many years since I’ve done it though, unfortunately. I want to do it again so bad. 🥺
As a kid, I had these yearly school camping trips that were about a week long. It wasn’t mandatory, it was just available to any student who wanted to go. It was honestly quite popular, and so we’d usually have a fairly large group of kids, and we’d go on a 2 hour bus ride to this specific camp. 😄
We would have bonfires, sing songs, eat s’mores, explore nature, learn about various wildlife, plants, flowers, etc… We’d also go to the nearby lake, canoe, swim, and feed ducks. 🥰
We would get up super early every morning and hike about 30 minutes to this log cabin that had the BEST food. I’m not even joking. They served straight up comfort foods. 🤤 We would eat both breakfast and lunch there usually, and then come back to camp and have dinner by the bonfire. 😋
During the day, we would hike to different places and do various educational activities, and then at night, all of the kids would play games together. Then, we’d go into our little bunks to get ready for bed, as we had our bags with all our clothes and such in there. We’d usually hang out in the bunks until bedtime, and then go outside, get in our tents, crawl into our sleeping bags and listen to the sounds of nature until we fell asleep. ☺️
I have SUCH fond memories of being in that camp, and sleeping under the stars essentially. It was just the best. Even writing this makes me so nostalgic and makes me wish I could go back.🥹

If you came across a miniature town made out of candy and inhabited by a society of gummy bears, should they have been worried? 🍬😆

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Mm, I would say it very much depends on what kind of candy it is! Cause I’m not the biggest candy person, so it’d have be something REALLY tempting. Like, if it was a chocolate town? Where they used various chocolate candies and such, that would be game over, guaranteed. I’m gonna be munchin’ 😝🤤
To be fair though, I really don’t eat gummy bears, nor do I particularly like the taste of them, so there would be no need to worry that I’m gonna randomly eat them. Which may or may not be comforting, depending on if I’m tempted to eat their entire town or not. 😆

Are you happy with the phone you have? Would you want to get a new one at some point? 🤳🏻

J_A1996’s Profile PhotoJ
I am happy with the phone I have currently!
I mean, I’ll have to get a new one eventually, but I would say, I’m not the type of person to get a new phone unless I absolutely need one.
I just find it highly unnecessary to shell out a bunch of money to replace a phone that still works perfectly fine.

What food do you think one should try when visiting the country you live in? 😋🌍 If you have a pic of what you're suggesting, feel free to share it 📸

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Well, I have two… 🤪
First one is a Philly Cheesesteak. It’s just SO good. Like, it’s probably one of my favorite hot sandwiches, next to a patty melt! I mean, it can be a hot mess, and pretty greasy, but like… It’s well worth it! 🤤
And the second one is a Chicago style deep dish pizza… It’s just such a different style of pizza than what most people are accustomed to, not mention, a lot of times, they have this buttery crust that is heavenly! I can’t recommend it enough! 😋

Do you use twitter? I just made one 😅

princessxbunnii_’s Profile PhotoBb Bunni
I used to… I’m not gonna lie though, it completely destroyed my mental health. So, I deleted it almost 2 years ago now. I just personally found it to be incredibly toxic and not a beneficial place to be, by any means. 😅
I truly do hope it treats you better, and that you have a good experience on there though.

Are you a city person or a country person?

I think I’m more of a country person, in a lot of ways.
As much as I love the city, I can only handle it for short periods of time and then I just start feeling overstimulated and ready for some peace and quiet. I think I’m mostly just not used to it, as I’ve always lived in fairly small towns.
Plus, nature is where I recharge, and where I clear my head. Being in a city environment constantly just amps up my hyper-vigilance. I just don’t feel like I can decompress. If that makes sense.

Has a movie or show made you emotional?

anonstar17654’s Profile Photoanonstar17654
Oh gosh, yes! Many, many movies have made me emotional. I cry so easily when it comes to sad movie scenes.
It’s kind of a weakness of mine.
This might be a very odd example as I don’t even know if this movie was very popular, but the ending scenes of ‘The Guardian’ (the movie came out in 2006) makes me sob without fail, every single time I watch it. If you know, you know. 🥺😭

If you could only bring one album to listen to during a roadtrip, which would it be? 💿🚘

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Ooo, I’m gonna go with Fleetwood Mac - Rumours. (And then sneakily add Landslide into the mix cause I love that song, even though it’s not on that album 😝😂)
I used to listen to Fleetwood Mac with my dad ALL the time, and it became synonymous with travel/fun times. For a couple years when I was a kid, he owned a boat, and we would listen to that album while relaxing out in the middle of the water on the boat. Or he would play it on the many long car rides we would take! ☺️

What warm clothing do you own to keep you warm during the winter?

x_LaReinax’s Profile PhotoJ A Y M A R I E ♡
I have a lot of sweaters! They are my favorite thing to wear in the winter, it’s like wearing a big blanket. And I’m cold natured, so I love it even more. I also own some very warm winter coats, as well as a handful of scarves that I really love! 🥰

Have you realized your potential?

Easton55018
To some level, yes. I’ve most definitely accomplished major life goals of mine that I thought I’d never reach and gone beyond where I ever thought I’d be in terms of progress. But I think I’m still unsure of just how much further my potential can go, and how to navigate evaluating it.
Like, I struggle to realize I even have any potential left until I look back on what I’ve already accomplished and I think “Wow, I actually could do so much more and I really do have a lot more ahead of me…”
I hope that makes sense.
