How was your weekend ?
It was great, walked to a place that I hadn’t been to since 2017 (Ellastone & Mayfield in Staffordshire & Derbyshire) on Saturday and cycled to some places I hadn’t been to since 2022 (Loynton Moss, Jackson’s Marshes and Jackson’s Coppoce in Staffordshire & Shropshire) so a great return to old haunts.

What's an underappreciated profession?
The jobs that involve working in water, such as fixing leaks or testing the quality of drinking water, monitoring sewage, and so on.
We appreciate van drivers, cleaners, shop workers and the like (albeit not enough) but there are the unsung heroes that most of us never even see.

When at Chef Ramsay’s restaurant in South Lake Tahoe, on my birthday, I wanted a cocktail that had the best ingredients and sounded like it would taste good.
I pointed at the menu because I didn’t want to say the name in front of a young, attractive woman and my own parents. It was called ‘naked and famous’!
It did taste so good though.

Do you still buy DVD's?
Yes! A lot of the films I watch aren’t streamed and I don’t want to pay for 3-4 streaming services. Once I buy a DVD, it’s my DVD and I can watch it when I want without paying more than the price that was clearly stated when I bought it.

Yes, I was at Trinity College at Cambridge University for a service two weeks ago!
It was a real high-church affair, just what I like. I’d long dreamed of going to Cambridge and my day was complete when I went to Kings that afternoon.
