I couldn't agree more. I actually think they're worse since people look to them for help and support and what do they do? They take advantage of that and abuse their authority.The police are "jaahil" so it's not really their fault that they harm people like that; people who recruit them and give them insurmountable power are to be blamed. The panacea for this of course is recruitment of educated(like really educated) people into the police.
