Personal question I know, but how have you learned to be a good dad without having a really positive male father figure?

Well my Grandpa was a huge figure in my life. I think of him often and his kindness, patience and wisdom are traits I hope I show with my own child.

What would be your ideal rap collab of artists who are currently alive/performing?

Hm just today I was thinking about how much I would love a supergroup consisting of Roc Marciano, Ka, Earl, and DOOM, with beats by Alchemist and Knx. Sigh....

I always feel a little sad on fathers day, others have awesome dads and I have a locked up, abuser, druggie for a father. What can I do to feel better?

I've never met my birth father, and my stepfather was an abusive asshole. Days like that can be hard when you can't share in the joy others take in their family. I just would say try to be happy for those who have what you didn't, and don't think their joy makes you small. It doesn't. People may not understand why you don't love Father's Day, but as with any other hard time, just surround yourself with people you love and who love you, and you'll get through those tough days. Good luck.

In my first year as a lifeguard at 16. During a routine search I saw two men drowning and went to save them with rescue board. I got one but just before I could save the other guy a large wave pushed him underwater. Was just about 10 feet away, he died. I feel bad, can't even sleep. Any advice?

Dear God, that's horrible. I'm sorry. Look, you're only 16 and you did your best, man. You saved one person. You're not God and nobody expects you to be. It's going to mess with you for a while, and I hope you have someone to talk to about it- family, friends, therapist, whomever. But as far as I'm concerned, if you saved ONE person's life, you've done more than 99% of humanity will EVER do. Think about that. Good luck.

You must get this all the time but if I have ideas/storyboards/music etc that I feel would be great for adult swim/toonami what is the best way pursue that?

Mail it to 1065 Williams Street, Atlanta, GA 30309, c/o "Adult Swim Development". Good luck.

What would you say is the WORST James Bond movie?

Has to be either LICENSE TO KILL, DIE ANOTHER DAY, or SPECTRE.

How much does it cost to set up a meeting with you?

Lol I don't ever meet with anyone for money. My company pays me plenty, I don't do shit for payola.

Got in the best shape I've been in years, bank account looking the best it has in a while, and life seems to be moving in an overall good direction for me. Yet i'm still just as if not more depressed than I ever have been. Should I seek help?

Yes, seek help. Don't suffer in silence, if you're hurting see if you can get in to see a therapist. Talking will help, believe me.

I am an artist doing his best to be heard and on most days it feels impossible. Should I worry about who I get my album to, or should I just keep creating and something is bound to happen? Also thanks for listening to my new album "if these walls could talk"! Your words meant a lot! -Ryan Evans

Keep creating! You should only be doing it if you feel you have no choice, anyway.

Keep creating. You should only really be doing it if you feel you have no choice anyway.

Just wanted to leave a sincere thanks for continuing to be the most badass head of a network in all of TV and one of the coolest dudes in your field ever. :D We appreciate you continuing to answer our (sometimes dumbass) questions!

Thanks!

whats with this misconception that people in the tv industry are affiliated with the devil, scientology etc. ?

People are dumb.

What would be the most interesting, weird, or downright scary piece of fan mail you/Toonami have received?

Lol we are big in jail. When we did that recent mail in letter campaign, most of the mail we got was from prisoners. Nothing scary about it, though, just makes you think!

I feel like anxiety rules over a lot of decisions in my life. And sometimes I canthink discern my knee jerk anxiety reflex from common sense decisions. Did you ever have to deal with anything like that? How do you decide to not let it control you as an active choice?

I don't have trouble with that in particular, but I definitely suffer from anxiety and I've found therapy can be a big help, I'd urge you to try it if you can get access.

I posted that vine like four ago when I was around 16 and now I've finished up a college since then thanks to ap classes and a lot of work. I'm 20 now and understand what I did was dumb. I just wanted to add some context to the situation.

I get it. We all do dumb shit and this is a tough era in which to be a teen, because the internet is forever. At least you know better now.

When I was a kid I posted a vine showing how I thought black "thugs" acted (said n***a in vine). I no longer have access to the account. The video shows up first with my name on Google. I have since graduated college. Could future employers hold it against me? Do they search this? Advice?

Employers don't search that deeply. But of course it could be used against you if you have any enemies who'd want to send it. I would try very hard to access that account and delete that video. Good luck.

I'm a graduate assistant football coach for my college team. I help coach the linebackers. I've been having trouble balancing my job and my home life. Don't see my family much anymore. But my job is performance based. Want to do well, it consumes me. Also want to spend time with my family. Advice?

That's tough. I would say you have to figure out how to partition your time so when you can HAVE that free time, you are spending it with the ones you love. If you love your job and your family gets that, it's okay to spend a lot of time on it. But if you feel like you're missing out on family time, you've got to figure out where you can pull back a bit. Only you know how to work that out. Good luck.

Philosophically, like Walter White- don't you think we're all only "decent" unless we have a reason to be worse?

Nah. I know plenty of people who've had plenty of reason and choose not to be weak.
