I've been working with the new girl at my job for two months, and I really like her. We're good friends, and I always have fun around her. But I'm her boss, and dating coworkers is a bad idea. My Mom also owns the restaurant, so I don't want things to be awkward. I still want to ask her out, advice?

Don't ask her out. Never shit where you eat. You're her boss, it's unethical and dangerous. Sorry, this is a pretty clear cut situation. Be a good friend to her...and that's all.

I believe Hip Hop + Anime = Success. Do you believe in this method as well? (I've been curious)

This isn't a method, or... Anything, really. So I'm not sure I can really agree, here? Sorry.

What do you think of the Swat Kats kickstarter?

I wish them luck, but I don't have any interest personally. Was not a big fan of the original. But I know a lot of folks remember it fondly.

what do you think of the whole Hulk Hogan situation?

Never cared about Hulk at all, and I'm disappointed but not shocked at all that he's a racist. Maybe he'll learn from this, I doubt it. Don't much care either way.

How did you survive your early 20s? I'm 21, and it's been difficult. I don't get anxious or depressed, but I do worry about things and latch onto them. Not just about my future, but it seems I've become a really sensitive person overall in recent years. It somewhat affects my mood and concentration.

I mean, you're still a very young person at 21. Much of what you think you know will be shattered in the next decade, and you'll find yourself constantly challenged by new thoughts and ideas. It's a confusing time but it's also a wonderful time because all of these experiences are fresh and new and everything seems so intense. The downside is that the negative emotions seem intense, too. You'll survive it just fine. Try to remember that things aren't usually as intense as you think they are, for good or ill. Keep your mind open to new experiences and try not to focus too much on negative things that happen to you, if you can. Good luck!

I noticed you were doing a few Aliens tweets tonight and I was wondering if you ever played Alien Isolation? I think they managed to capture the original jump factor from the first movie in that pretty well, most of the time.

I did play it, finished it on hard, too. They did a great job of capturing the atmosphere of the Alien films. The sound design in particular was phenomenal. The game itself I had some real issues with, but overall, I'm glad I played it.

I have fond memories of watching the original Dragon Ball as well as DBZ on Toonami, and a lot of my friends actually preferred the original DB, but it has a reputation for not being as popular here as DBZ. Would you say that's true, or was the show almost as big a hit as DBZ?

Well, *I* too prefer DB to DBZ (barely), but you and I are in the minority. DB came out in the US AFTER DBZ, and never came close to its popularity. In Japan it was somewhat of a different story.

Why are the black and white bumps repeatedly using the same music? I mean, both of tonight's bumps with Pluto in it had the same music

I don't make the bumps, so I dunno. And also... who cares?

I stopped following you on twitter a month ago and have been way happier with my life since then

I'm happy for you. Now stop following me on ask, stop sending me pissy little missives like this one, and we'll BOTH be way happier.

I really feel like getting DS2 but don't know how good it is yet. Is it worth buying?

Absolutely worth buying.

How would you rank Future's post-Honest output?

56 Nights > Honest > DS2 > Beast Mode > Monster. This will not be a popular ranking, but fuck everyone.

With what I just read about the car accident do you think the driving age should be raised and if so to what age?

I think 16 is fine with the requirements most states have; I definitely feel driving while texting should be illegal and enforced.

What can I do to humble my child? He's 9 but has had a silver spoon in his mouth since birth and has developed a slight arrogance. He's oblivious to the struggle of other people. Wants things done his way & tries to tell coaches & teachers how to do their jobs. How do I humble him?

Well, I'm not sure how to help you here. He's your child, so to some degree it's your job to teach him better than that. All kids, if left unchecked, will behave like shitty sociopaths. If you have no idea how to discipline him, it might be time to look into some books about cognitive development for young kids, and teaching good behaviors for the future. You might also try asking friends with kids what THEY do. Ultimately, you will have to introduce discipline in a way that lets your song know these unwanted behaviors are wrong, but you'll also have to make sure he understands that though you are punishing him, it's not because you don't love him. What's worked fairly well in my house in my daughter's younger years was this: explain what the rule is, and if the rule is broken, remind the child what the rule was and that you spoke to them clearly about not breaking it, and that breaking it would result in consequences. Then calmly carry out the punishment, without passion or anger/yelling, but simply as the result of the unwanted behavior. The explain that the next time the rule is broken, the same punishment will be expected (btw NOT corporal punishment- that's not cool. I'm talking about, like, removal of iPad privileges, standing in a corner, whatever modern parents do). This approach has worked for me, but every child and is different and so is every family. Instead of turning to me, a total stranger, you should turn to family or friends and the vast knowledge of information out there on the internet, roll up your sleeves... and get to parenting! You're going to be a parent for your whole life, best figure out how you want to do it before you screw it up, right? Good luck!

I really loved 'It Follows,' not sure what all the hate is about. It was different. Different is good. Also, dat soundtrack tho...

Hm I haven't read or seen any hate for IT FOLLOWS at all, actually. I really dug it a lot. Very well made film. And yeah I enjoyed the soundtrack.

whats your opinion on earl sweatshirt?

I think he's the best of the OFWGKTA lot by a country mile and always have. He seems serious about his craft and committed, and he's gotten better with every album. IDLS,IDGO is one of the best rap records of the year, I think, and his confidence in terms of beat selection and flow is impressive. Earl is gonna have a nice long career, I think, and is the Odd Future associate with the best chance of giving us a classic.

will there ever be a space ghost blu-ray release or at least a rerelease of the last 2 dvd sets?

Sorry, not my department.

Clarifying my earlier question, I remember the Dilla promo, but was talking about this promo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6GRGEw7P9I which has the Mike/Alchemist song and also three different El beats.

Well, the "Big Beast" beat made sense because it has a great intro drop and it's another Killer Mike tune, and otherwise, I dunno, just felt right.
