I wouldn't say it's a habit of the wealthy, at all. Not sure why you might think that. If you get bored when you read, maybe you aren't reading the right kind of books for you! Try something that really sucks you in, so you can't wait to find out what happens next!

Oh, books are so intensely personal I wouldn't presume to say what anyone SHOULD read, but two I think are eminently re-readable and are classics are Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy and Moby Dick by Herman Melville.
