What type of school did you go to during your childhood: private, public, homeschool, other? Did you like it, why or why not? Would you do the same for your hypothetical kids, why or why not?

i went to private school since first grade until i graduated hs. for kinder & prek i went to montessori which i guess is private but it’s also it’s own thing lol
i LOVED the elementary/middle school i went to and i still do. the teachers were all amazing, we were taught at such advanced levels (seriously like at least half the books in hs that we had to read had already been taught to me in depth in middle school), and my classmates were great for the most part (i still have a groupchat w my friends from there and we talk everyday!)
in high school it was overwhelmingly clique-y, and the teachers sucked ASS except for my first two art teachers, the theatre teacher, my first history teacher (he quit when i was a sophomore) and the math teacher like. ASS. total ASS.
my kids will go to montessori and private school, and they can choose if they want to go to public or private in high school, but if they go to private they’ll be going to not my school lol.

my dad !!
and i mean my mom always forced her v high standards on me even as a kid, which i mean literally made me develop an eating disorder, obsessive-compulsive tendencies (sorting & hoarding), and extreme anxiety. she’s also the reason i haven’t transitioned or seen a general doctor in 4 years.
my dad has literally never forced any belief on me, ever. if he did it was because my mom made him. like my dad is so passive and he flat out told me the only thing he wants from me is for me to be happy. he carries a picture i drew for him on a post it when i was 4 in his wallet and it’s all crusty and faded now but he still has it, and every other picture i’ve drawn for him is taped on the wall in his closet so its the first thing he sees in the morning. he also cooks for me & handles my medications.
i honestly love my dad so much it’s insane like wow,, issa good father

oh okay so you essentially still love the person like any other best friend only it runs deeper in that you're also attracted to their personality or appearance, and you are capable of romantic love, it just isn't "natural" like it is for non-aromantic people for lack of a better word?
