how about we stop treating children like adults and view them as what they are -- children. legs and shoulders aren't inherently "sexy" or "adult". they're part of the human body and young girls should be allowed to wear shorts and skirts without being afraid of being sexualized by an older audience lmao

why do some feminists think it is physically impossible for a white person to have grown up speaking AAVE natively, for example, if they were adopted by a black family or went to a predominately black school

less than two percent of adoptions by black or latinx families are black or latinx families adopting white children, however fifteen percent of adoptions by white families are adopting black or latinx children -- and there is about an equal amount of white children and latinx / black children waiting to be adopted.
the chances of being a non mixed (ie not mixed black // mixed latinx) white person in a predominantly black or predominantly latinx or predominantly black and latinx school is about 3%, however the chances of a black child or latinx child being in a predominantly white school is in the 80th percentile or so.

people are not inherently racist. it is a system that is taught and passed down and it is something that can be broken down. a one year old doesn't care if a black woman takes care of him or a white woman takes care of him. a newborn doesn't care if her nurse is indian or hispanic. humans are not inherently racist.
the idea that humans are inherently racist and the idea that racism is always going to exist is the reason that racism still exists, carrying a mindset of "haha it's fine it's human nature nothing we can do about it uwu" is the reason that people continue to defend and ignore racism

so I consider myself trans (ftm) but whenever I hear other people's stories it's always "I knew from the start" "I always knew" "I always felt different" and I didn't. I didn't know until just recently and haven't felt different until like 3 years ago (I'm 18). I feel like this makes me unvalid???

theres no right or wrong way to be trans
some people know from the start
some people don't know until way into their life
some people feel bad about it
some people feel amazing about it
there is no singular "trans experience" and you're just as valid as someone who's known for a while
