OMG i had no idea that lasers could give cats ocd! a lot of ppl use them to play with cats. i had one too until its battery died and didnt bother to replace it.
yep! since they’re not able to *really* catch it, it can lead to them developing ocd or anxiety.
i live in an apartment. tips/ideas how to play with a cat that doesnt require much space?
cat toys — get a variety (the small toys that usually come in packs, a collapsible tunnel, wall-attached scratching post/s, kicker toys) and provide height variety in your furniture or even some empty shelves if possible/you dont have room for a cat tree. give them window access. interactive toys are great too —basically the electronically operated ones that move by themselves. and just make sure you personally play with them (i prefer the wand toys or strings, not a huge fan of lasers tbh since that can give them ocd) as well. also make sure they have a designated food area (seperate from water if possible, but its okay if its not), a designated litter area that’s all seperate from their play/lounge areas. when i liked in my apt i would keep food & water near the bathroom door, the litterbox in my closet, & that meant they essentially had the whole bedroom as a lounge/play area :)

it can be both, but it’s also important to remember some lgbt people do not want to be called queer and view it a slur and that’s also fine.

Would you recommend keeping my cat away from her? Whenever I visit grandma I bring her too but now that the other cat is a recent mom my gut tells me she might not like other cats on what she considers her territory. so I want to avoid a cat fight lol

yes, that’s completely normal. once they’re older (usually when they open their eyes and can somewhat walk on their own) she’ll either bring them to you or lead you to them — so pay attention if she meows and acts like she wants you to follow her :)

The weather is beautiful today. 66&cloudy so I was in the mood to go out and went to this sidewalk café for lunch. They had folding chairs... now, not to sound like a gay Karen but FOLDING CHAIRS? my keister and spine still hurt from sittin' on that excruciating thing. They so didn't deserve a tip.
