Who are your favorite ASKfm couples?

i'm in the mood to infodump and project before i go to see captain america: civil war and my hyperfixation switches sO
im only on season six so if this is inaccurate in current whoops but
friendly reminder that special agent doctor spencer reid
- is absolutely in love with special agent derek morgan
- undoubtedly loves and respects special agent hotch and views him as a father figure, same goes for special agent rossi
- loves infodumping about his favourite shows and movies to other members of the team
- is called "pretty boy" and "kid" and "spence" and he absolutely BEAMS when u call him that, esp. if it's derek (which it usually is)
- is really good friend with agent penelope garcia, they really bonded when he got shot in the knee + they probably talked about derek's butt all day //;
- he's really good at puzzles
- he's also SUPER good at gambling and he's super proud of it too
- he writes to his mom every single day and he doesn't view her as any less of a person from her illness, in fact he views her as strong and brave and he loves her to death
- he's a recovering addict and he's trying really hard to be clean and i love him so much for it
- he heavily relies on derek and hotch for support
- he doesn't pick up social cues or things like sarcasm/story telling
- but he LOVES talking and he gets really carried away sometimes but he doens't mean to
- he's not very good with kids or babies (he can't hold a baby dear god) but he loves talking to them (namely babies) because they can't really talk back
- he changes his hair a lot
- after hotch's divorce, he is the first person to make hotch laugh, and you can just absolutely seE how happy he gets when hotch smiles like... o my god
- he doesn't like being touched or being hugged but have yoU SEEN THE WAY HE HUGS DEREK. HE HOLDS ONTO HIM FOR DEAR LIFE AND IM GAY
im deceased mmm oh my ogd

They literally complimented you..you don't have to be savage back at them, and tbh boys AND girls are pretty not just girls

i don't owe you or anyone an explanation ? i wasn't even ~*savage*~ i literally said "i'm not a girl." that's a statement//fact like ??
i'm not a native english speaker. i speak spanish natively, and like most romantic branch languages, spanish is heavily gendered. my brain still automatically sorts everything into the gendered categories, even though i don't want that and it's not something i agree with morally or socially or whatever it still happens.
is pretty gender neutral? of course. derek morgan calls spencer reid "pretty boy" all the time. handsome is gender neutral too, there are some damn handsome women out there.
but the connotations of words like "pretty" and "handsome" is still heavily gendered-- and if someone doesn't like those words being associated with them, especially if that person is trans, you have no say in that. you have absolutely no right to police the words someone wants associated with them.
some poc don't want to be called slurs.
some sga people don't want to be called queer.
and some trans people don't want to be called certain "compliments".
i don't give a fuck how "rude" it is to not want to be associated with a word, it's way more fucking rude to call trans people words that make them dysphoric. dysphoria can manifest in psychotic episodes, dissociation, panic attacks, depressive episodes... and if you make someone dysphoric you're literally the reason for that. fuck you lmao :^)

highkey why i hate the vegan community lmfao, they act as if veganism can cure everything, which is absolute bullshit
my grandmother is diabetic, if she went vegan, she would die
my mother got gestational diabetes when pregnant with my brother, if she was vegan, she would not only harm herself but my baby brother
veganism is helpful and i know it helps a lot of people with a lot of conditions and issues-- but it cannot cure everyone and everything and believing so is ableist and often times racist as well
highkey why i hate the vegan community lmfao they act as if veganism can cure

Ecris un petit texte en anglais sur le sujet de ton choix

so i go to subway every day and i've been going daily for about four months, and i always order the same thing (6" turkey on wheat with double american)
last month they hired about... 3/4? new employees, and this one guy who has gorgeous eyes has only attended me 2 times because he works 5-8 pm and i usually go at 3 pm
well i walk in and he goes "THE LEGEND IS HERE" and i

Is access to the Internet a basic human right?

i mean when governments are shutting down internet access or denying rights to websites like facebook and twitter because they're scared their citizens will realize the complete injustice and wrongdoing the government is contributing to, yeah that's a basic human right
but your mom taking your laptop away for sending nudes or your teacher taking your phone away for texting in class isnt a violation of your human rights lmfao

do you think people can diagnose their own phobias?

yes, self diagnosing is totally valid
but people usually blow it way out of proportion-- disliking something or being grossed out or made uncomfortable by something does not mean you have a phobia of that thing.
like in criminal minds for example, spencer reid does not like clowns, they make him uncomfortable and they make him feel weird but he does not have a phobia. penelope garcia on the other hand, does have a phobia--- a clown sexually harassed her and her phobia stemmed from that, she can get panic attacks or things similar to that due to clowns.
i have a phobia of medicinal things, i can't go to the doctor without taking xanax or similar medication and i can't even swallow pills because that phobia is so prominent in my life. sure, nobody likes going to the doctor or taking pills or getting shots, but for me that can induce panic attacks, delusions, paranoia, etc.
tl;dr yes, but uncomfort/dislike =/= a phobia

jesus christ maybe you should work on that. I thought you were chill but you're so damn bitter. fucking relax. bye now!

yeah i should work on my mental illness for sure :((( boo hoo, dont let the door hit ya on the way out :((

lmao past generations have beautiful stories like "I first met your father when I saw him walking on the beach and I knew he was the one". Our generation's stories are basically "I first met your father when he rated me '10/10 would bang' on ask.fm" or "we super liked each other on tinder"

i was best friends for four years with my girlfriend before i asked her out. i asked if she would be my giant frog, as frogs are a topic of humour between us.
i was good friends for over a year with my boyfriend before he asked me out, he gave me a long ramble about how i was the only person who listened before i kissed him and said yes, i'd date him.
get your head out of your ass, but tbh it'd be a miracle if you can considering how far up it is. everyone has a different way of meeting their SO and yeah, even older people have dumbass stories like "i wrote her a letter with my phone number and told her she was gorgeous" or "i told him he was hot and asked him out". like seriously, just because it's done via text message or dm now doesn't mean it's any less valid than a "proper" way, as long as there's a mutual sense of love that's all that matters lmfao

Honestly i'm a poc and idgaf about cultural appropriation. The only poc who care about it are the ones who have been influenced by western feminism and think their opinion is the opinion of all poc.

i'm not a western feminist and cultural appropriation was brought into feminist communities by non western feminists, so congrats you're a wet cabbage

Is it ever ok to skip school for mental health?

yes... and no?
mental health is heavily chastized and it's just as important as physical health, and if you think you need to take a mental health day, that's totally up to you and your decision should be respected.
yes, depression can be so significant that you can't get out of bed and you spend the whole day sobbing for "no reason" and yeah, you should skip school then.
yes, anxiety can be so bad that even being told "wake up" can send you into a full on panic attack, and yeah, you should skip school then.
but on the flip side, for the most part those are the only disorders that are talked about in mental health discussions. they're told to, and for the most part educators can fix themselves to help people with those disorders-- more time for assignments and tests, leniency on arrival time, etc.
but where's the support for students with psychosis? with personality disorders? with dissociative disorders?
when you have students facing delusions and hallucinations and paranoia so intense they cannot focus or cannot imagine themselves being around other people, are they going to be allowed to have a mental health day?
when you have students dissociating into alternate personalities or into a fractured state of mind, and they can't remember their name much less keep themselves on task in a school setting, are they going to be allowed a mental health day?

when you have students experiencing withdrawal from drug use, when you have students lashing out at everything and everyone due to a personality disorder, when you have students believing they aren't even on this plane of existence due to psychosis-- do they get a mental health day? or do mental health days only extend to students with depression and anxiety disorders who can be comforted with a day of watching netflix and reading john green novels?
