do you think that if women hadn't spoken, held protests, events, etc that women would be able to vote?
do you think that if poc hadn't led protests/events, spoken/addressed political leaders and rebelled against racist societal norms that poc would be able to vote, have residency or civil rights?
speaking up about controversial issues helps educate people on the subject, it brings light to things the general public might not know, etc. sitting there and going "nah fam i'm not gonna talk about it it's too controversial" does absolutely no good for anyone involved.

Dude, I personally think you do more than enough when it comes to animal consumption. I hate people that guilt others with their beliefs. It's not ok to do with diet, religion, or any other personal choice.
imo the only time it's appropriate to call someone out on their personal beliefs/lifestyle is when they are harming other people-- such as christians that harass gay/trans people or harass women* at abortion clinics, like that's not okay at all
