Just turned the legal age to go clubbing . How do u approach a pretty girl in a club ? Any tips

Say hi to her, just be nice. Maybe ask her if she wants a drink with you. But do be aware some might not be interested, or might be in a relationship. So just be friendly and pleasant, don't be creepy and inappropriate.

Do you think it is important to have a rebound after a break-up?

Haha not important at all. In fact I think someone should work on themselves and have some time to be single after a break up. Rebounds may distract you but they usually end up making you feel more empty and the person you're rebounding with gets used in a way which isn't nice.
So just deal with your emotions in a healthy way, don't use humans to solve them.

If a movie feels long does it mean it's bad?

Depends if you like it or not. There are some longish films that I love, and would rewatch. But there are some I wouldn't wanna watch again because they were kinda boring to me.

Ever had something disappear inexplicably? I can't find the parchment paper. I know for certain I bought it last week along with Aluminium foil but Idk where I put it. It just mysteriously vanished, but ik damn well I bought it, the image of me holding it in Wegmans is vivid in my head

I couldn't for the life of me find one of my old hamsters ashes (I'd needed to find a new box for them so had put them somewhere before, in a bag still obviously), and it was really frustrating me because that's not something I want to lose. And I also knew I wouldn't have put it anywhere bad, so it had to be in a safe place. Searched high and low, couldn't find them, thought they were gone for good.
However the other day when I wasn't even trying to look, I took a lil silk scarf out of a draw I hadn't used in awhile, and the bagged ashes were wrapped in the scarf, so I found them! I was so overjoyed I can't even tell you. Safe to say, they're in a place I know now haha and are in a lil box finally.

What is one show or movie that you feel was totally spoiled by a lacklustre ending? 👎

Dexter. I won't spoil it. But considering it was 8 seasons long, the ending was absolutely piss poor appalling. I wish I hadn't seen it at all, it ruined it that bad. Haha

Do you watch crime documentaries 🤔 can I ask why? (ignore the previous q)

I do! I find them super interesting. True stories are fascinating to me because they can teach you things about human psychology, the world etc.

Do you think good and evil is better determined by motivations or consequences?

Motivations for sure. People can do things with good intentions that end badly. Or may not realise. Or can be an accident. Albeit the consequences end up bad but as unfortunate as it is, they aren't evil for it. Even if they're emotionless and couldn't tell right or wrong because of that, they still aren't evil. Because they weren't reveling in the thought of doing something heinous.
Motive and intention is the true sign of someone's evil in my opinion. Because its very intended, whilst being aware of right/wrong, and doing it anyway. And even enjoying it.

Describe your favorite place to go eat! Like, what makes it so good? 🍽️🤩

Yo sushi, because it's so fun and playful. And all the dishes are bitesize, so you can sort of eat as you go and see how you feel. Without having to buy a big dish you may not feel able to eat all of.
Also Wagamamas because their food is amazing, my favourite is the (vegetarian) katsu curry 👁️👅👁️✨.

How'd you describe the kind of weather you often have where you live? ❄️🌧️☀️

TobbeAsks’s Profile PhotoTobbe
Most the year it's either rain, grey sky, windy or occasionally mildly sunny. And then sometimes in the year massive heat waves.

Do you like to dress fancy for parties, events and such? What'd be a typical fancy outfit for you to wear? 🤵

I do, I like to dress fancy in general, so when I have an event or something to go to, It's an excuse to dress even more fancy. 💖🌈✨

To have a massive house, where every room is a different theme. So like one could be a 90s theme. Another could be Sci fi themed, made to look like the inside of a space ship. Another would be a massive play room with ball pits and slides and all that. Then another would be a laser quest room. And then I'd have lots of kitties to cuddle. Ooh Ohh with secret hidden rooms too! And big gardens with beautiful flowers and swings. Cosy areas to read or talk with friends by a fire.
I just want the ultimate comfy, wonderful, magical house.

Someone I know got on ask recently and it’s so funny bc she still doesnt know how this site works, shes freaked about the flurry of questions and the weird things people send via shoutout. Should I tell her to chill and explain to her that its not what it seems

Just explain it a bit to her, why not :). Can be a bit confusing to new users

Do you always check your phone the first thing you do when you wake up?

No, I mean I do, to turn my alarm off. But I put my phone down after that. And then I get up and make tea/have a shower or something. I don't like to be on my phone all day. I'll have moments I'll be on it for awhile at a time. To reply to messages or anything. But I also have periods I put my phone down and do other stuff.
Its good to have that balance personally. Stops the day being wasted easily.

Do you use a telescope to spy on your neighbours?

Haha no. I live very close to other buildings. So I wouldn't even need one if that's what I wanted to do hah. However I don't really make a habit of spying on people.

What should I do with a friend who is going through a hard time, but at the same time they don't wanna let me console them? They shut into themselves and don't talk to anyone.

I'd say just check in with them now and then. Even if they don't feel able to reply. It means a lot getting messages from friends checking in with you, when you're struggling. It also serves as a reminder that someone cares about you.
I think sometimes letting someone know you're there to talk to if they need you, doesn't always lead in them talking to you, because they may be struggling with feeling like a burden. So if they feel that way they wouldn't wanna burden you (even if you said it wouldn't be).
So I find a better way of dealing with it, is to instead initiate for awhile, and check in with them. So you aren't leaving the effort to them. And you're asking how they are, or sending other reassuring words. So it's easier to reply and less burden feeling when someone's going out their way to check on them.
At the end of the day, if they still don't communicate with you, there's only so much you can do. And it's important to look after yourself too.
