When people ask questions like “what’s your opinion on” *insert group of people i.e ethnic groups, genders, s*xualities, nationalities etc* do you think that kind of questions come across as discriminatory/bigoted albeit that’s not the person’s intention?

Unless there is a clear attitude attached to the question I try not to read the asker’s mind too hard.

Do you think mental illness is less stigmatized in the present? A lot of ppl are open about their struggle with mental health and therapy is highly encouraged and promoted. Years ago if you mentioned “therapy” to someone they’d give you weird looks, it was seen as something bad bc ableism was strong

Ableism is still very prominent especially in my part of the country, but you’re right that therapy and mental health awareness has become more mainstream overall. I just live in a backwards, poorly educated state surrounded by mean people.

Are you more of a risk player type or a safe player type of person?

I don’t play and I don’t do anything risky.

Do you always change clothes when you cook something that requires frying and lots of oil? I always do, because that smell sticks to your clothes, so showering and changing clothes after is something you should do unless you enjoy being greasy. That's why I prefer baking!

I only fry once or twice a year.

There’s a woman at work that is super flirty with me. I’m training her as she’s new, I don’t know should I go for it or protect my job just in case. As we all know that metoo movement is strong.

Say your day was like a Phineas & Ferb episode, that you could build something beyond your wildest dreams and then get to spend that day with said thing, what'd you create? Examples from the show include a full on beach in your backyard, the world's longest roller coaster etc. 🏖🎢🔧

You are making me feel my age, because I am not familiar with the show. It sounds like a lot of fun so I will definitely look it up. I would enjoy everything you just mentioned plus some water slides and maybe some food trucks and fireworks.

Do you like picnics?

I think the word itself has negative historical connotation, but the actual act of taking food to a park or something is nice.

Why are dentist chairs so ugly and uncomfortable? Whenever I go to the dentist, I have to lie on this super rigid and ugly chair for an hour. I feel like more people would overcome their fear of dentist if they had better chairs. I surely would enjoy the process better on my velvet tufted chaise.
