What is the best way to learn a foreign language? Do you speak any?

I don't. I used to speak basic French, but I don't even remember that anymore. I am ashamed of not being bilingual, and I would prefer to be multilingual (French, Spanish, ASL at the very least), but I'm so tired I'm not retaining any new info at the moment. I hope that I'll be able to pursue it further in 2019.

It's not fair. It's frequently harsh, so pursue resilience if you intend to survive with your sanity intact. Humans are deeply flawed and selfish by nature. Empathy is important to both give and receive. Having a bad life doesn't give you a license to be horrible to people. Religious beliefs do not justify mistreating others. Respect does not have to be earned; it should be given. Trust is earned, and often broken, but that's not the next person's fault so don't make them a scapegoat. Stand up for yourself. Marriage isn't for everyone. Mental health is as valid as physical health. Don't be a sheep; think for yourself. Ask questions. Do whatever you possibly can to be independent of others. If you want something done, do it yourself. If you don't speak out, nothing will change. A combination of self-awareness, understanding, and genuine effort is the path to being a decent member of society. There's nothing wrong with being an introvert. Secular education is vital to a safe, intelligent, fully-functional world. Respectful communication is the key to all relationships. Bodily autonomy is a basic human right. Children aren't dumb, and they deserve to be heard. I'm chronically ill, but that doesn't make me crazy, bad, or weak. I didn't ask for this. I'm not normal by average society's standards, but I'm a heck of a lot more normal than I thought. I have a lot to learn. I'm still learning. Never stop learning.

That said, the auras are sometimes large dark spots, but I also experience the flashing or shimmering white lights, especially if light triggered the episode. It is not at all pleasant and can be debilitating.

Who is your favourite character from Stranger Things? (If you've watched the show)
I gotta give it to Bob Newby currently, but outside of Season 2, my favorites have been Dustin, Lucas, Eleven, and Jopper (that's Joyce and Hopper's friendship, which will definitely turn into more next season because the fans, and even David Harbour, have demanded it). :-) I'm looking forward to watching Season 3!

Well since I just belted out Circle of Life from The Lion King, I guess that's the song. Ha! As for movies, there are tons! I like many but I will say it's a toss-up between Robin Hood, Mulan, and Frozen. I also liked Honey I Shrunk The Kids, Toy Story, Lady and the Tramp, Dumbo, and Fantasia. Oh yeah, Disney owns Star Wars now, so there's that. One Magic Christmas is a must-see during the Christmas season. Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey made my half-sisters and I cry a lot. Do you love hockey?
I honestly haven't watched it other than the Winter Olympics. I live in a subtropical climate, so it's not a prominent sport here. I'd probably like it if I were more exposed to it, as I seem to like most sports in general.

Why not? What's the worst that's going to happen? Best case scenario is that she'll still be interested. But if you never say anything, she'll never know and nothing will happen at all. At least give her the opportunity to respond! If she's not into you anymore, be respectful, accept it, and move on. Good luck! :)

Does one of your senses provide a more "real" experience for you, than the others, which and why? :)
Interesting question. I'm vision-impaired, so that sense is weak. Smell and touch are too strong; smells really affect me, and everything hurts. :( Taste is an intriguing mix of awesome and horrible, thanks to a genetic condition. I have no opinion on hearing, really. Whether or not the more heightened senses are the "real" experience or the result of my systemic disease's secondary sensory overstimulation is the question, but I suppose either way it's "real" to me.

What's something that can always make you feel better?
Nothing ALWAYS makes me feel better, but sometimes laughing at stupid stuff on the internet or talking to my little nieces helps.
Ladies and gents! What are your most tried and true crazy beauty techniques? Mine is toothpaste to dry out those super bad pimples.
I know almost nothing about beauty, but I can recommend goat's milk soap for the face. Scrub it in, rinse, pat dry, and your face will be so soft.
